Gayton has delivered the best speech, find Mandela in us👋👋👋Thank you for reminding us the spirit of unity coz the hate we show in one another it's really sad
Mr Minister McKenzie love your Good authentic speech. Keep being patriotic and keep that positive energy. Keep fighting for South Africans human rights. SOUTH AFRICANS FIRST.
Gayton mckenzie has lightened up the political scene with his delightful story telling , humour and honesty . How lucky are we to have this guy to help heal our country
So so glad he is one of our GNU ministers, he adds such life experience and common sense to parliament. I bet nobody falls asleep in parliament anymore. Go Gaston go👍👍
This was truly moving and motivational. Minister McKenzie you have the gift of changing hearts the way that Madiba did. Stay your course. You are exactly where you need to be. We have long wanted for a political leader that cares only about what he/she can do for the people of this country. I read a book called "The art of happiness" and in it is described that when we see someone we don't know but dislike because they are different we should focus on the long list of things that we have in common (nose, ears, eyes, teeth, muscle, bone, etc.) and thus will quickly find that what makes us different is insignificant. May we all find the "heart" of Mandela in ourselves and help others to find it inside of them.
Love you, Gayton! South Africa is blessed to have you as one of our Leaders. We agree Cyril Ramaphosa is a God sent for this difficult time in our country 🇿🇦 🇿🇦 🇿🇦
Well done, Gayton! I respect you for being so honest, and for just being yourself. May the Lord Almighty protect you, bless your and be with you! May He give you His Wisdom and His Strength to be able to play a big part in uniting the citizens of South Africa!
I am a 60year old lady and I agree, that most people don't understand this and the sad part is most of them weren't even born in apartheid 🤔. We can make this country the world's best country if we let go of the past and work together as a nation🙏thank you for this, it is giving me some hope for the future 🥰
What a smart man! Street Smart as well. Shame on his haters!!! Intelligent, great sense of humour, honest, sincere, not ashamed of his past - he is such a great example of how a person with such a dark past turned his life around for the better. He used his criminal past to change the lives of so many people by becoming a Motivational Speaker. I have so much respect for you Minister McKenzie! The sincerity, honesty, compassion, intelligence, the list of adjectives to describe him is endless... he is fearless, ambitious, a hard worker, he sticks to his convictions. All I can say is that this man is the best thing that ever happened to South African politics. One of the best things that the President did is to give this great human being a position as a Minister in the South African government. I salute you Gayton McKenzie! Great speech! (Another speech that is from his heart, not read from an Ipad or piece of paper.) Now that's what you call a skilled Orator! Viva Patriotic Alliance!💚
I was a youth and you gave a talk at my school I won’t ever forget it. Awesome to see you now where you are leading my movement of dance in sport in South Africa 🏆
What an inspirational story, really impressed with this minister and feeling optimistic for SA after a long time.. please keep it up minister and please don't let your passion die down after a few months - we counting on you to deliver and show the country and the world that SA still has leaders with integrity. You represent more then just colored people and may God bless you as you do what you have been called to do
“Sport has the power to change the world, it has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair.'' - Nelson Mandela. The lecture you have presented about Mandela is one of the best ever given, simple and straight forward. It is the likes of Nelson Mandela that has made sure that South Africa never experienced war in leading towards its political freedom. The GNU must now work harder on the economic freedom and the likes of Rupert must stop funding political parties but must contribute to economic freedom of all South African using their financial muscle. They need to ignore those loud-mouthed calling them ''white monopoly capital'' and should endeavor to preserve and honor Madiba by contributing more to economic growth and reduction of unemployment in order to address the ills of the past.
l like this Minister with his sympathy to people those who understand the life. Ofcourse he is showing and telling us without fear how he was ,as a teenager. He also had his bad side but he changed his life to be a good person to people .Mind you he is not a politician or a politician l am not sure just forgive him, but he is ready to make people to change their feelings against one another and against him because of how he was behaving as a young boy / man . l really forgive him he has changed.Keep it up McKenzie.
It's very true, as a traveler when I'm asked where are you from when I mentioned South Africa they ask your president Nelson Mandela was a good men I go what?! Which mean he really played a good role, and we cannot be rasict at some point it does not help anything nor anyone destroying what is there for the both of you wont solve anything.
No Pres Ramaposa didn't find Mandela deep inside him, he found the Lutheran inside him which we all prayed would come out again one day. God bless you pres Ramapoza. God's peace and grace to you.
I might be wrong 0:01 about this but a 13 year old boy would be in juvenile prison... Iooks like an overactive imagination situation... Mandela was jus a human being, the one I will give glory to for saving and keeping this country to our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. And it would be better for us to ask for the guidance of Jesus is our hearts.... can't go wrong with Him
I think Gayton was a juvie too? Mandela had a lot of flaws, and I remember a young African guy asking me to marry him and give him my car( I'm 60 right now) and that's why Gayton mentioned his "betrayal by Mandela" because he said things that would make black and brown people think they could claim white wives, white properties, etc.. and he spoke badly about us when he was in foreign countries. God is our only saviour, but while we're on this Earth, we have to rely on other humans...
On a lighter note, if Pres Ramaphosa said ANC is the number one criminal. This one is a criminal and now is a Minister, this means from prison without any political background to the Ministry, having said that, now Baleka and Mandela call him to deliver a key-note address on Mandela. Well, I do not know what influenced their decisions, but what I know for sure is that tenders in the Ministry might have been on the table. On a serious note, South Africa is a very interesting Country.
And apparently he doesn't even takes his salary, I wonder what makes him happy because most of MP members are just there to enjoy their big bucks while people struggling on the ground.
