I’ve been watching a lot of BuJo set up videos and a lot of them aren’t really my style at all, but this is TOTALLY my style. I’ve been thinking of starting a journal to continue learning how to read tarot by dedicating a page to each card and I really wanted to make it witch themed without being cheesy, and this is just so pretty and aesthetically pleasing and inspiring. Please keep going with this theme, I love it so much!
I am so unfashionably late to this party I just found you today because youtube recommended this video. Your set up is stunning, totally my vibe also. I am a 50 year old autistic witchy lady, who reads tarot and I create my own self help oracle decks . I love bullet journaling because I also need the customization planner just don't cut it for me either. You defo got a new subscriber here. Thank you for sharing your layouts you gave me so many great ideas. I am creating 2 tarot bujos, one for lists and one for study and insights. I’m waiting for my journal to come in the mail but I’ve been making spreads already with the leftover pages in my old journal lol! Glad I’m not the only one who’s already started:)
Feel you there! It's always a real challenge of patience for me, waiting for my next journal when I've ordered it 😅 and I also start planning and experimenting in the back of my current or older journals 😉
Your bujo looks GREAT!! I love your style! I watch all the time but I rarely comment. And yes, I'm in the midst of starting 2024, as well! Sad part about me is that I'll probably change my mind 100x before I settle!!

It's ok to change your mind. You can try different themes the whole year and ideas, and kick it off in your favorite design mid-year. It will be like a portfolio of different unique designs you made! Best of luck to you.
Where are the moth ink stamps and space postal stamps from? The misc collection of moth/space/tarot themed papers and stuff too! I love seeing other people’s journals, but I’ve never seen a bullet journal that fit my aesthetic, and I could not love this one more! Everything about it is so beautiful! I love your aesthetic :)

I'm still debating whether or not I'm trying to use a bullet journal again. Last time I failed miserably, but at the time I didn't have a job, Uni or anything else (just depression), so I fell out of using it. My journaling hasn't recovered from the slump of 2021, so I need all the inspiration I can get 🙃 your style is absolutely beautiful ❤ where did you get those stamp stickers exactly?
Maybe you just start with a page a day. Something like "what was the best part of today" or how was the weather or easy stuff like that to get back into it?
I can totally understand that! And with depression I can imagine it's even harder to find the motivation to fill out a journal. On the other hand there are so many different ways you can create a bullet journal, so if you're still debating, maybe have a look at your "failure" (wich is just one try that didn't work for you, don't feel bad about that!) and try to see what were the things that didn't work and if there were parts you enjoyed. Maybe, if there aren't a lot of life changes yet, you could focus more on little or big things that bring you joy (like tracking books, music, shows...) or use it as a diary to write about your days etc. If you enjoy the creative part, maybe use it as a scrap or sketchbook... Just a few ideas here. 😅 But if in the end you decide that bullet journaling is not for you (at the moment or at all) that's OK too. @@nelesnotes thanks for the kind words ❤ I've decided to use the "old" bullet journal to do a December tryout, definitely with less space to write down to dos and lists, but more of a combination with weekly journaling and maybe some pictures I take. That'll force me to go outside more and look for stuff I find pretty. And I'll definitely try to do more creative/scrapbooky stuff with it, maybe keep track of the books that are waiting for me to read them ☺
Never give up a journal no matter what situation you're in. The best journals spark in the darkest moments. Even if you don't have access to stickers, washi tapes, and Tombow markers a cheap bullet journal and pen, and your motivation and commitment to jot your way through the mud will someday be of a highlight and beacon to someone else! Don't give up even if there's a million reasons to do so!!! Best in 2024 to you!

Its really pretty! Dont worry about being "on trend" Just do what you like, you will attract the right people. Found you and will be staying. Already binged some other videos from you :) I almost have everything ready to set up my 2024 Bujo. A few functional stickers Im missing and 2 washi tapes. Then I only have to wait until work calms down a bit so I actually have time for it. I really like to be thorough on it and take my time. After all, these are the sites I have to look at the whole year, lol

Oh yeah I feel you! It really costs me a lot of willpower to not set up everything in September as well, but I know that I need to think it through a little bit longer for my bullet journal 😅
