I have special guests James and Elliot representing both of the Melton International tackle stores joining @RileyKolich and I today to do a little pre fishing for the first annual Meltons Tackle Newport Bay Spotted Bay Bass tournament hosted out of their Newport location, formerly known as Anglers Center.
The event is Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 6am to 1pm and is being hosted out of the Meltons Tackle Newport location. Signups will start at the Newport store location at 6am. Please reach out to them for more additional information!
As far as the fishing went, we had a good day despite air temps starting at 44 degrees and water temps down as low as 53 degrees. Seemed like we had a better day than a couple others we talked to on the water so we'll take it!
