I kinda like Joe Burrow as my comp. Accurate, smart, knows where to go, can drop it in the bucket and can deliver the deep shot when it's there. I don't see him lasting past the Broncos at 12.
Real excited to see how Sean and Bo work this camp! Plus Broncos have Brees and Peyton Manning hanging around to help the QBs. He seems much more coachable then Russ was so he could really thrive in Denver.
I would take Nix top 5 and not think twice because he’s going to be an excellent franchise QB. These guys made that case, then fell back on the illogical mock draft positioning. Nix reminds me of Aaron Rodgers coming out. The tape is excellent, but most weren’t sold on him. Again, not rational but that’s the pre-draft process.
@@LordWu82 No. Let Bo know you want him and convince him this is the best place for him. Shouldn't be hard. He's gonna want an opportunity to start somewhere in a system that suits him. Sean/Denver is it. So take BPA at 12 and trade that player for Bo later in the draft and pick up an extra couple future picks in the process.
@@applebutter4036 you know what , that's true get him at 12 plus he's started a bunch of games so he's got the experience there we need a starter that can multitask and process faster , next year with the top cap space in the NFL we can really put a great team around him
Bo Nix is not the obvious choice for nfl teams, but after the elite trait qbs go in the draft Bo should be the obvious choice imo. I think Giants should trade back and take Bo Nix.
@@SimmsComplete Sean Payton must've paid a lot of hush money to get him to drop lmao. He really should have gone #3 as qb, not above MHJ or Nabers but other than that he could have gone anywhere. He snuck to 12 and there was a campaign pretending he's not a 1st round qb lol. I get thinking he could have fallen to the 2nd round but that's mostly due to the climate of the draft in general.
Bo had 5 years of college football along with 5 different OC's, so he has the IQ along with everything else. Would like to see Giants trade down from 6 with the Vike's for their 11 & 23 first rd picks and take Bo at 23.
Nice video guys, I'm a Pats fan and we have the 3rd pick. The Pats have many holes to fill and might trade out for a later 1st round, and for another 2nd. I'm hoping they stay within #10 pick, and I'm hoping that Nix is still there and the Pats take him. Also you mentioned Kirk Cousins that I like lot and think he would be a very good Bridge QB for a 2 year contract. I would trade Jones away his career in NE is ruined. Zappe I think would be good to bring some challenge to Nix for back up at least for a year. What do you think guys ?
Steal of the draft. Not elite.....but has played a lot. Good size....good arm.....quick decision maker. Few interceptions and a lot of yards and TDs. Most experienced guy coming out of college. Can throw from a number angles and off platform. Pretty mobile and natural. Born to play football. He is like to me Flutie 2.0. Guys a player. I take him in top 15 no question.
He completed more on platform throws than anyone in this draft. I don't see the Zach comp at all. Nix is way more polished as a passer and decision maker.
They are describing a career backup. If you don't have elite arm talent and you can make routine throws in College will not make you a top 15 QB in the NFL. In 1 year. the Broncos will be looking for an upgrade that can compete with Pat Mahommes.
Thats not true. His offense was more focused on a short passing attack but when they took shots he completed a lot of them. And did well creating and throwing on the run
I would say more like Baker Mayfield. There is nobody i can really think of really like him. He is a gamer that's why you take him. His elite talent is that all that he is makes him Flutie 2.0. i cant wait to watch him play in the NFL.
The comp I used for him was a more athletic Kirk Cousins Makes good decisions, above average NFL arm, above average athlete, plays the position extremely well.
Definitely has a lot of Flutie in his game. A more athletic Cousins fits, too. Brees is also an obvious comparison already. Personally I think he's got all the best parts of Heinicke/Flutie mixed with Cousins and Brees with a little bit of Flacco thrown in. I feel like Nix might have the fastest release of the bunch, still needs to work some on footwork and his deep ball has elite upside with a bit of finesse there. He reminds me of John Stockton how he plays at qb. I love the pointguard comparisons a lot of people have made - so why not the grittiest one of the bunch? All these athletes have stuff in common.
Bo Nix will look great in purple. With the 11th pick in the draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Bo Nix! If he wears the purple 10, Fran Tarkenton will have to allow it! Make Bo Nix a Viking please…
