i think people are sleeping on the value of a punter or kicker at r4 or later. Most players dont turn into stars after r3 statistically speaking, when you already have a solid roster on paper (but had the 32nd worst punting game in the league last year) it makes sense to patch that weakness with a guy with crazy accuracy. It was just an added cherry on top to get Austin Booker also (who is the dude i initially wanted at 122).

Detroit snagged a top 10 WR in the 4th a few years ago... Actually, many great talents are found after the third round. The greatest player in the history of the game was taken in the 7th. Terrible pick to go punter. This guy better be able to pin it on the one every time...

Kool Aid at 41 by the Saints was best value pick. Had him in first round. Started as a freshman for Nick Saban. 2023 production decreased because teams rarely threw passes his way. Last two corners to start as freshman at Alabama are All Pros now.

2 comments-1 dont agree with your position on kickers. Bears round 4 pick of punter Taylor is brilliant. When you have a top defense, having a great punter is a great pick. Bears draft A plus. 2-dont agree with your negative comment about 49ers drafting 2 receivers with first two picks. Given that their top 2 receivers could be lost, these are reasonable picks. Other than that, liked your evsl.

Punters do not put points on the board. A muffed punt could lead to points for the opposing team. So how great of a pick is someone who does not contribute to points on the board? He could be the greatest since the 80’s still ain’t doing much for me. Go be a great a soccer player.😂

You take the average net 40 yard punter and I'll take the extraordinary net 50 yard punter, and over the season my guy will be the difference of one more in the win column than yours... That's big.

LA Rams completely remade their defense in the offseason, including the draft. The young defensive line is going to be scary good, and actually better than the sum of its parts because of the way they fit together. The secondary is completely remade, 4 new starters, all upgrades. Solid A. The kicker in the 6th was the RIGHT thing to do, b/c it's the right kicker!!

Titans should get an A. JC Latham is a mammoth of a human and is going to be coached by one of the best O-line coaches in history. T’Vondre Sweat will be a dawg, absolute beast in the trenches. His bull rush is fantastic. Cedric Gray is a great sideline to sideline backer, and will be able to wear the green dot helmet as a rookie. The day three picks were all of great value and needs for the team. Titans have had a great offseason

It's very difficult to give an A+ to any team that only gets 5 guys total, and 1 is a punter. Two top 10 can't screw up picks...no. even if you're just grading on how well the team did with the picks they had, the above stymie the grade a bit. A-

I had the Raiders at B+ also, only because they didn’t or weren’t allowed a chance at picking their guy at QB but overall it looks to be a solid draft, they stole a blue chip playmaker in Brock Bowers, they got a badass new running back who in time is gonna make everyone forget about josh jacobs and they addressed a lot of pressing needs at offensive line and defensive back. We still need to wait until the regular season to see if this draft class works out but for now it looks extremely promising which is something I rarely say when a comes to the draft for the Raiders. Go Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are the Browns draft grades landing in the C zone? You can’t give them a C because they didn’t have a 1st & 3rd. Thats poor grading. What if they draft really good players in the rounds they did? But since they had no 1st and 3rd, they get shoved to C. That’s wack.

Raiders a B? Drafted Bowers instead of an good OT, DE, CB? Drafted Powers Johnson whos a better center than a guard? 😅😅😅. I'm a Raider fan but common, this draft is a bust. Yeah we missed on a QB but why pass on Rattler on round 4? If Bo Nix ends up being decent, a lot of criticism will go on Mark Davis for hiring Tom Telesco as GM.

In a falcons fan. I can say, in doing alright. Is what it is, we are most definitely used to this crap. I’ll give them one of if not worst grade in this years draft. Half the picks didn’t make sense and how we acquired them. I think if it would have went the way everyone was predicting, it could have been a high B or low A. It was very disappointing and not only do I feel bad for Kirk, I feel really bad for pennix. I don’t dislike pennix, but he could have went to a plug and play team that needed a qb now. I think it’s sad, and still doesn’t make sense. Maybe Kirk will get hurt and miss some games and it will be good to have a decent backup and not be biting my nails every game. But, what if he literally has no need and only plays 3-5 games the next 2 years. Not fair at all to him.

How the Hell are my Broncos losers of the draft? What is everyone smoking on thinking that Bo Nix is an Awful pick. What was Denver supposed to do? Shedeur Sanders (next year) is not better than Bo Nix imo. Also, Blame the Falcons for setting the Broncos into panic mode. Trading back would have risked their chances on getting Bo later in the 1st or second round. Overall, give the Broncos a break given the cards that were dealt. DB4L💙🧡

Exactly I swear it’s like did you guys & analyst watch the draft Denver needs a QB & it would be stupid to give up more draft capital to trade especially knowing you have no chance at getting to 1-4 only thing they could have did was trade back to get nix later but he was always the target & I believe he’s the 3 or 4 best QB in this draft 61 college starts completion percentage number 1 in college also i believe he fits Sean Payton system perfect ppl don’t understand how much of a problem Russ was too our offense also if we didn’t take nix at 12 raiders for sure was at 13 but I agree With you as well about bo over sanders. I’m gonna give the eagles an A but not because there my team. It does help cause outside of just being happy I do understand the context more, but them being a team that just does not draft secondary players high sitting and waiting for Mitchel to drop to them allowed them to go up for Dejean at 40 topped off with a linebacker in the 3rd round! There two biggest weaknesses all met in the first 3 rounds with all players that can play day one(doesn’t mean they would be good just that they could). Great draft and definitely worth the grade even if I wasn’t bleeding green.
