thanks for all you do man I don't know how a team in the league hasn't approached you to scout for them and retire your youtube career yet lol I know its coming down the pipeline with how accurate you are on where players get picked or who would pick them its uncanny thanks again
Yup. If I ever get my health back, I'll probably try to start a competitive channel because while it is work, it's the kind I enjoy. Seeing what you think can't or will succeed in the NFL then reviewing those views later. I used to be pretty good at that.
You were brutal to the Panthers even while giving so much praise. Btw it’s okay to develop a few guys especially when our highest pick might as well still be a 2nd round pick
If Penix was the target from the beginning, then why sign Kirk? Terry Fontenot thought he was drafting for his 2 QB Fantasy Football League. Drafting Ruke when JerZhan Newton was still available? Another head scratcher. The Commanders were laughing the whole time as they drafted Newton with the very next pick. D grade for the Falcons is being generous. F minus would be my grade.
@@imjoelfrmdaeo Why sign Kirk? Just draft Penix and get him to be the day 1 starter. Penix needs reps to learn the game. Get him on the field so he can learn the game faster. Terry is a poor GM.
Didnt see this but penix isnt ready to start right now he can sit a year or two behind a proven qb in kirk , next year our pick is gone prolly because of kirk its like a jordan love plan
@@imjoelfrmdaeo Tell me one QB drafted in the top 8 who "wasn't ready and had to sit for 2 years" in the entire history of the NFL. U are mistaken. When a QB is that good, the team wants to play their rookie QB as early as possible to give them real time / in-game snaps as much as possible. Stop regurgitating what people are saying and use ur logical thinking. Look at Ridder. He was a 3rd rounder not a top 8 pick. And Ridder started in his 1st year. Think about it. U want ur rookie star to start as soon as possible. Jordan Love plan? U know that Love was drafted 26th overall and not 8th, right? U also know that Love was drafted in 2020 while Aaron Rodgers was under contract. A contract that was signed in 2018. Not weeks before the draft like Kirk. The whole point is why sign Kirk when u wanted Penix. It made zero sense except those who are gullible to the political spin of Terry Fontenot (such as a 125 year old, feeble willed, barely breathing, barely cognisant senior citizen like Arthur Blank).
Derek Carr is another one of those guys the fans love to hate. Even though it was _clearly_ a Josh McDaniels issue most fans *and analysts* vilify him. I don't think it matter a ton in his case. With Lamar it goes further & a lot of things that were the play-calling he gets blamed for. Justin Fields' entire career may still end because of what his play-callers did that he got blamed for. But Carr was always well-liked by all his teammates, for his clubhouse leadership & work ethic. I think that their opinions in these matters are closer to the truth than fan opinion. He took two games to yell at his receivers publicly on the field & throw to where he was trying to tell them they should have been on those routes. I'm no Dennis Allen fan, but kudos to him for realizing what he was doing, letting him do it & getting the incompetent Pete Carmichael fired. Three games after that all started, the offense clicked despite Carmichael. Same like Pickett calling audibles & winning games. But the fans & analysts refuse to see it.
Carr also cant block for himself. I cant stand listening to fans who say the OL sucks, then blame Carr for not having huge passing totals. Kinda goes hand in hand
Appreciate the videos man. U put in that work like always. I value ur insight. Do u think that Atl thinks something could have gone wrong with cousins comeback and don’t trust he will be the same guy and that is why they took penix? I just didn’t understand taking ruke over newton. Newton fits their scheme more.
Great video as always but being a Panthers fan myself, I can tell you that they don't plan on using Legette as an X. That's where Diontae Johnson will be lining up. From everything I heard his primary home will be split between off the line Z and Y. I'm sure he'll get flexed out at X occasionally. But currently that's not their spot for him.
