Man, this is so fun I love both of you guys. I get a lot of my information when I mix my opinions with yours you guys are so intelligent I swear every year I’m becoming more and more and more of a draft guy. It’s like an RPG game. As a Patriots fan, I want MHJ so bad because the team is not anywhere near a QB away, but with Mayo, Wolf, and Van Pelt all being pretty clear that QB is the position they’re taking at 3 overall, I’ve come to accept it. I still don’t see the Patriots trading out of the top 10 with Vikings because like you mentioned, you remove yourself from taking a blue chip talent, and I think a lot of people hear Mayo say that trading back is good, but didn’t listen to him say it would cost a bag, and how much he’s talked about taking a QB. I think it’s a clear smoke screen to get some offers if they’re insane or still within top 8… Vikings fans especially are saying it would cost 3 firsts and use the 49ers trading with the dolphins as an example but did people forget the dolphins already had a QB? Why would the Patriots who desperately need a QB (if they’re building around him like they’ve mentioned) trade with a QB needy team? If the Patriots had Brady, no question they trade number 3 overall, but as it stands now it would cost 3 firsts and Jefferson, or 4 first round picks, which both are crazy over pays, but there’s an entire article explaining that’s what it would cost.

Why on Earth would the Broncos trade up to get a QB when they have NO draft capital and little talent on the team? They should trade DOWN and just grab as many "best players available" as possible. Start Stidham next year and draft a QB in 2025 if they get the #1 overall pick.

Can't emphasize enough the importance of 40 times for corners. I don't always agree with Chris Simms, but I thought his comments on Terrion and Kool-aid and how Saban altered his scheme was insightful. Is this class deep? If your threshold is simply reaching the status of an average starter, sure. I don't think there's too many alphas, though, and i don't really think slots can qualify as alphas (Their peak is 'star' imo) so that rules out Sainristil, Melton, Phillips, and Abrams-Draine.

100% Trading back just far enough out of top 4 QBS, top 4WRs, and even Bowers, to take a DL. Not even OL or top CB since we only have Banks and then nothing. Giants dont have the luxury of taking goofy picks like that right now.

Vikings will not trade with the Chargers Alex, if they do so wow Arizona is anywhere near the clock then Arizona will probably trade the pic to the Giants and make the chargers look pretty damn stupid Since the Vikings have already said, they want to get the tray done before the draft. It does not make any sense for them to trade with the Chargers before the draft and risk getting skipped by the Giants or somebody else in Arizona’s spot.

Trading to pick 5 is like showing up 30 mins late to a gangbang…. What’s the fucking point!! All the qbs are gone by pick 5.. mine as well stick and pick at 11 and 23. Also it doesnt make sense to me that u decline the 2025 1st from the giants to select MHJ. Nabers and a 2025 1st makes much more sense to me than only MHJ. I hope your are so wrong with J. Daniels pick. KOC offense is not designed for mobile QB (ex: Josh Dobbs) Its more pocket.. KOC hired D.Mayes highschool football coach as QB coach.. I think thats the link but I guess hes also linked to McCarthy. IDK man, if your trying to spin new content in a mock? Okay but realistically? McCarthy on the board I think will win the pick. Not to mention.. You do realize J.Daniels is all hype. Just because Daniels hype started near the end of the season?? How many championships? The both can throw. Lets just say QB rating wise. 2024 QB J.Daniels cus he will most likely start vs JJ McCarthy 2025 (or 2024 if played) in NFL QB rankings. Look at best JD will start out like J.Hurts. I believe he will be RG3. Injury and all. He will show great at times and end up losing games. JJ? depends.. if he sits a year he will be a top 15 QB. If not... its a crap shoot. Could be a Zach Wilson or end up better than Burrow. Same trial by fire effect happens to Daniels. Sink or swim seldom works.. Could Daniels gain a lot sitting. Heck yes but no coach will do it. No matter what team get JD. His season will look like J. Fields numbers even if he plays for the Vikings. JD threw to top receivers. JJ threw to Roman Wilson. JD comp %72.2 JJ comp %72.3 Daniels threw more but JJ completed slightly better. JJ's 3rd year is equal to JD's 5th year?? Excuses were made for JJ and overhype was given to JD. Not saying JD is bad, but J.Fields or G.Smith is not bad. However, I as a coach would not make them my QB. That JD. haha of coarse JJ could be Z.Wilson.

WR is a need for Miami believe it or not. Hill is close to retirement (he said it himself- once his contract is up, he’s gone) and can’t stay out of trouble, so there will be a massive vacancy to fill next to Jaylen OL is the best choice, but I also see a lot of quality IOL in round 2

I feel like 16 is too early for the Hawks to reach for a guy when we dont have a 2nd. If they really like a guy and take him at 16 then I'll trust the process because John and Mike know better than me but I feel like the Hawks could trade back and still get the Oline help they need while getting more draft cap to continue filling in the roster with young talent. We have multiple vets on 1 year deals and are gearing up for a change at QB whether that be Sam Howell, A rookie qb this year or next, so trying to fill those holes now seems like the best move. Using our 1st or 2nd on Interior Oline is still the play if we trade back but a rookie at every position on defense to see who sticks would be great.

If you were a GM -- would you be happy with either the Browns Deshaun Watson contract or the Jets Aaron Rodgers contract? -- Hell no -- I'm so annoyed at the Falcons for signing a 35yo on a 4 year $180 million contract ($100 guaranteed) for a QB with an Achilles injury that you don't know how he'll recover (a lot of young players don't recover) -- stupidly has no limits in the NFL.

Dejean would end up a safety, and CGJ could move to slot. Wiggins is just not a good pick and won't pan out for us, especially when we also have needs at OL and DL that could be addressed first round. Plus, we have Isaiah Rodgers, who you completely skipped over, so no, we don't NEED a CB, especially one that's hurt and tiny, which is why they literally moved on from Maddox.

don’t be surprised if btj falls to mid second. historically that’s where prospects like him to. AJ, dk, sutton, watson, devonte and many other wr went pick 30-60. there is no way a team takes him that high.
