Falcons need to trade down. I always want to mock them Dallas Turner and I don’t think he’s worth the 8th pick. I’m not sure who would be a nice pick there other than maybe Quinyon Mitchell
I think they should trade down. Turner worries me with his size. He is very very similar to Vic. I think they need to trade back and get someone like j verse
i just can’t believe four QBs will go back to back to back to back. feels like every year - last year being very much evident about this - draft analysts/hype over-inflates the value these teams place on getting their QB.
also just not sure the vikings would have what it takes to get the cardinals out of that pick. feels like they need to give murray that guaranteed guy to finally move that team into playoff company, otherwise they just run the risk of staying eternally stagnant. of course, perhaps they have some red flags about harrison, but i’m not so certain such matters given his talent. vikings would have to throw them 3 1/2 to 4 first round picks (1/2= second, third and fourth)
The thing is teams didn’t value qbs as much because they were waiting for this year. Also, i think Vikings can pay the cardinals price and the cardinals should trade if they are smart
I feel like the teams that had big question marks at qb (Falcons, Patriots, Raiders, Commanders) and did not draft a flawed quarterback prospect (Will Levis for ex.) after the first three went all regret that decision. Ridder, Jones, Jimmy G, and Howell were all so bad last season. So now the teams that find themselves in the same spot (Broncos, Vikings, Raiders) will not look to make the same mistake, especially when there's a J.J. McCarthy available that has some potential. Not to mention a Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. as QB5 and QB6 (although they're likely to be early second round or late first round picks).
My only thing is, I know Gannon is not the GM, but the cardinals taking 3 offensive guys in the first round, when the HC is a defensive minded guy just seems unrealistic
Yeah 3 straight offensive players doesn’t seem realistic, but this is straight up the best scenario I’ve seen for the cardinals. This would straight up be a dream.
I’m so tempted to make Cooper Dejean my CB1 after his workout. The only thing that made me hesitant was his long speed, but 4.43 is more than enough to quell those concerns. I’d happily take him with a top 15 pick now. But I still hope he falls to my Lions.
I’d like to see your positional rankings and how they compare to someone like TFG’s. I know it’s a lot of work, and most people are more casual fans, but I actually take interest in legitimate scouting reports on prospects. Just a thought🤷🏾♂️.
is the QB2/3 situation like last years at all? Stroud was locked as a #1/2 pick for 2 years then his draft cycle someone gets hyped up a ton(levis) but he still goes 2. obv jayden prob wont drop as much as levis but just wondering
17:00 no bears have gervon dexter, zach pickens, and also andrew billings they need an edge to pair with montez MUCH more, have only one edge with zero depth
Per Adam Schefter the Texans reached out to the Vikings to make the trade out of 23, it is now assumed this was to acquire Diggs. I think the Vikings moving up is becoming too prevalent because people believed they were the ones to seek that trade out.
@@yaboyray6886in what world do the bills have enough capital for that? if they wanna get into the top 10 from 28 its gunna cost at a minimum 2 first round picks
Man, the Cards are going for the Top Oline in the league. I would have gone Kool-Aid for the Cards…we need CB. But I appreciate the oline looking like: LT- Paris Johnson Jr LG Jonah Williams C- Graham Barton RG-Will Hernandez (who has look great with us) RT- JC Latham
Don’t think would happen but would love for Giants to trade back with Vikings and get those 2 1st and just get more TALENT because we lack it, also wb DeJean to SEA to play FS with diggs and Adams gone?
As a Packers fan you'll never get hate for drafting Cooper DeJean from me haha. I´m manifesting this in my drafts for weeks now. 😅🙏 Besides Basaraski Packers Drafts, I enjoy your draft videos the most. Thank you and 👏 from Germany
You may see the Packers trade up to ensure they get Cooper DeJean. Other teams may opt to draft him after his pro-day workout. Cooper isn't even likely fully recovered and he tested crazy well. You could see his 40 speed be even better in another 5-6 months as he continues to fully recover his explosiveness. He's a former all-state track champion in sprinting and a basketball star in high school. Explosive athletic ability is his defining characteristic but he's just also a natural mental athlete in his multi-sport talents. What better position than the Secondary coverage to put a physical freak with incredible mental awareness? I think other teams ahead of the Packers may grab him. I think he's the perfect pick for the Packers in this entire draft, even if the Packers picked in the top-10. The only other position the Packers might pick over Cooper is a Left-Tackle to seal up Love's blind spot protection for more than a decade. I would still go Cooper anyway and then trade up in 2025 for the LT.
Agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment that the Eagles aren’t afraid to trade up. However, I disagree with who I think they take if they make a move. Fautanu has been Stountland’s guy since the combine, and although there is significant for talent at corner, the philosophy of the Eagles over the last decade or so has been “build the trenches in the draft and sign proven talent elsewhere”. We need RG, and Fautanu is the easiest plug and play Tackle-to-Guard convert in the draft. I think they’ll trade up into the 15-20 range if Fautanu falls that far.
There is no shot cardinals trade for only 2 firsts, Monti wants at least 3 1s or we just sticking and picking, with all the picks we already have why would we trade away 4(MHJ) for 2 water downed picks. MHJ is miles better than any players combined you are getting at 11 and 23
In such scenario I could say Cardinals might trade up from 23 to 17 for Turner as well. As you said they have shit load of picks and in more need of EDGE than Jaguars so I wouldn't be suprised If they would like to make a trade especially with team from AFC
I think it's funny you feel better about the Bengals trading up in the draft than the Colts, since the Bengals haven't traded up in the draft since 1995.
BTJ or Terrion Arnold are my fav picks for Indy. I feel they could trade down slightly though and still get BTJ perhaps. They’d be passing on corner 1-2 though
As a AZ Cards fan, I applaud you for predicting their draft strategy, trading down first and trading back up to the 8th overall pick. I hope you're right.
The Nabers thing was a year ago. It’s just dangerous on Bourbon street during Mardi Gras. I think he was just carrying for protection. More importantly, he hasn’t had any problems since. I’m with you on the Sweat thing. Idk why these guys decide to do that at the absolute worst time
If Marvin Harrison Jr is there at pick number 4 da Cardinals sprinting to the podium to take him they not trading that pick back at all 💯Da chargers on da other gutted there roster this season and wanna trade pick so they would be down for it 💯that’s what’s going to happen Ari isn’t trading back if Harrison jr is there they need a WR1 and that X receiver to work with Kyler Murray like they did with Hopkins
I think if Cards trade down, and have both 23 and 27 they likely look forward enough to grab Dejean and Barton/Mims instead of double dipping on linemen so close to each other. I dont hate much else.
Cardinals want MHJ badly! Only way they trade down is if they already have a trade lined up with the Chargers to move back up to 5. But why would the Vikings trade with the Cardinals knowing they can give up less to get number 5 and still get their guy?
Gotta pick at least one defensive player??? For the cardinals also if they pick Latham they could slide him at right guard and then slide him back to right tackle next year. Could just draft a Walt Frazier with their 2nd pick too
No way the Bears pick at 9 of those guys are available. They will trade down if this happens. I could also see them trading up for MHJ or Alt instead of Arizona trading up.
All this stuff about Minnesota moving up to take McCarthy makes sense until you think about the teams after 3 before pick 11. Who is really targeting a QB there and who are they jumping to have to give up so much?
Slight correction of sorts and not really important but the Vikings didn’t go to trade to get 23, Houston approached the Vikings apparently. Doesn’t really matter but just an interesting wrinkle in my opinion
I think Vikings would throw in a third rounder as a sweetener as Qb tax. The Vikings would be giving away a lot tho for the fourth quarterback. Would be a slight overpay.
Terrible Trade for the Cardinals. They said it themselves they are not moving down for anything less than 3 first round picks. aint happening as your package is atrocious.
I love the Eagles trading up for a corner, but would rather it be Quinyon Mitchell. I still believe Howie will take edge or tackle because that's what we value more than anything.
Do you think the Bengals would be wise to include Tee with a pick swap if they are to move up for Bowers? Save themselves from giving away the second round pick
i’ll tell you how we’ll be shocked draft night bears take daniel’s at 1 and before people come freaking out let me tell you why. it’s the chicago bears there’s my reasoning 😂😂
this is a really bad mock, why would seattle take an edge especially verse if they stuck at 16 here they would have gotten turner whos better bpa at edge. Shows how little you actually pay attention to seattle needs, they need oline they need OG/LT/RT someone that can play at least two of those spots before an edge like verse
Not fun can ya do one where Minnesota doesn’t give up their future for the “4th” best qb in the class that’s all I hear man. If it happens it happens but gimmie sum else sumtime
Cardinals need to take cb at that 27 spot will Hernandez played solid last season and Jonah Williams is getting kicked to the inside with JC lathem being added
i mean if you are the cardinals or the chargers do you really want to trade down 7or6 spots and get a late first rounder or get a generational wide reciever when you dont have any weapons offensively. For me its vers obvious it doesnt worth trading down for neither teams in my opinion.
i can see the arizona trade to the vikings but i think personally its for maye unless hes gone already in that case i think they sit at 11 and pick who falls to them and trade 23 for a future first
