Wiggins struggled to stay healthy and given his frame I expect that to be a constant with him. Rosengarten is weak. He has decent athleticism but his core strength is piss poor. That lack of strength showed in run game. Rosengarten struggled to move players off line of scrimmage and at best was just getting in the way. Plus in biggest game of his career v Mich...he was really bad. Isaac was awful at the senior bowl, he didn't win one rep in 1 v 1s all week. He relies on speed which is fine at CFB level but given his meh combine he won't be able to use near as much in NFL. He is a 3rd edge rusher and not much more. Walker...at senior bowl he couldn't separate, couldn't catch and routes were amateur hour. I see Wiggins as lone good pick and that is totally reliant on his health.

Lol i love how the original post is that ravens can do no wrong and the reply is that we can do nothing right. Wiggins isn't a best fit for a bare defense but with the ravens he gets to play around an all pro safety an ex all pro corner , an all pro linebacker and a ton more talent. I think we use his insane speed to bait Qb's. Rosengarten might be lacking in strength but guess what, you can become stronger and he has really good technique. The running back fumbles alot but hopefully our coaches work on that. The potential is there to be a bad draft but there is also a ton of potential for it to be a great draft. How will we do in bringing them up to speed is the question. And that question reigns true for all 32 teams.

What ? They went online 2nd rd ! RT was the only position on the line we Really needed to fill . Besides that it’s just depth . We got CB because he was easily the best player available and it fills a big need ! Hump has been hurt lately Nd Stephen’s is on his last yr . Grabbed a speed WR with 6.2 height ! EDC nailed the first 4/5 picks ! We drafted at the end of each rd filled need and got BPA ! Good as it gets !

​@@mrvass3385 Rosengarten has a huge flaw and for me was a reach. Rosengarten has a lack of strength and it shows on tape. His run blocking was mediocre to poor all season. Plus against Mich he was the worst player on the field. Mich roasted him, over and over again. Dez Walker is fast and so what? A ton WRs are fast in CFB and the NFL that doesn't mean they're good. Walker was awful at the senior bowl. Couldn't separate, couldn't catch and looked overwhelmed. He also had average at best season for NC. He was not helping Maye much that's for sure.

We have Ben Cleveland and Andrew Voorhees. Cleveland has proven himself fair enough. He played great against Miami last season. Still have to see how it all works out but we have guys we can rotate

I got news for you, players that fall in the draft due to injuries that get snapped up later in the draft? Don't work out that much. If you get anything for Vorhees it will be a bonus. Plus as mentioned if Cleveland was any good, he would have beat out mid AF John Simpson.

@jlm4455 we picked up a few guys who went undrafted too I'm pretty sure. I haven't checked all of them but I'm not gonna worry about OL right now. EDC will have pieces to work with.

@@MrDavidkniggeyeah. Moses is much better in the run game than pass game and we run a lot. Zeitler is much better in the pass game than run game. Even go back to Orlando brown, due to how great we were running the ball back then his issues in the pass blocking game were covered up even tho he is an elite run blocker

@@MrDavidknigge could be. Regardless economics can’t be overlooked. Tons of tackles and guards were just drafted, which is going to push older still talented guys off rosters to save money. Zeitler was a first round talent bouncing around teams before ravens helped reach pro bowl heights. Honestly people talk about how ravens draft by well, equally important lately has been their skill in evaluating and maximizing free agent talent.

Zeitler was considered one the best FA at OG when Ravens signed him. He was not a bargain basement pick up. Moses was also considered one the better OT options when Ravens signed him FA. There are currently zero players left in FA that come close to Moses or Zeitler. Moses one of the best RT in the NFL for the past 3 years. You're not getting at a bargain basement price in 2nd wave of FA. Zeitler was also a very good OG for Ravens, one of the more consistent performers in the NFL. Again extremely doubtful you're getting that at a bargain basement price, especially considering what is left in FA. Zeitler and Moses were signed when Ravens had some cap room, currently they have very little and need most of it to sign their draft class.

I think that it's simplistic to hang playoff failure totally on one guy, though I agree that the coaching strategy to almost completely abandon the strength of the offense was certainly a factor in last year's game. As a Steelers fan, that's the last semi-measured statement I'll make about the Ravens this year. I don't wanna lose my season tickets! 😂

And as a die hard Ravens fan, I have faith we can make it to the superbowl but if it ain't us, I am crossing my fingers that the Chiefs don't have a 3-peat. So yes, that means I will root for the Steelers, Bengals, and Browns this next season over the Chiefs.

Seems is doing a ton of work here. Take Edge players. In past 5 years + Ravens have taken bunch of Edge players. Name one that has truly worked out. In last few years alone taken one in 1st and one in early 2nd. Oweh and Ojabo, now? Ravens are drafting yet another Edge in top 3 rounds. If any other team wasted this much draft capital on one position with so little success? They'd be getting panned. Until they got Flowers, Ravens had an even worse track record drafting WRs. When you have a franchise QB it covers up a lot of other things. Ravens are not the draft experts people thing they are, yes better than most teams but nowhere near as successful at they're portrayed to be. Where they excel? Free agency. Nailing players like Clowney (career year) and many others over the years.

Twice he got a major season ending injury. Lamar got that same narrative pushing for lesser injuries. Burrow has a smaller frame than most QBs too. So he's not built to take a lot of hits.

No, they didn't. The steelers got value at every pick. Every pick, they got someone who was expected to go earlier. Most importantly, they addressed their biggest needs in the process, completing their o-line rebuild and getting a wideout. They don't have any major holes anymore.
