My mom has a 2010 Infiniti qx56 which is essentially the same vehicle. The 5.6 v8 is still delicious after 100k miles. Great machine!

I had the 2004 Infiniti QX56 and it was a great vehicle (had over 220000 trouble-free miles). She should get another 100000 miles with no problem. I traded the SUV in 2021 (because of excess rust underneath which my mechanic was worried about because I trailer a boat and he told me that to fix the suspension it would cost more than the vehicle is worth) for a Nissan Armada SL and I just love it. I agree with every point that Ben Hardy made on this video. Personally, the V8 engine is so dependable, I wouldn't take a chance with a V6 turbo which only gets an extra 3-4 miles per gallon.

66k for a V8 suv with a third row, that interior and an advanced 4wd system is a steal in today’s market

Yes has a nice smooth sound than the 2013. The 2013 was a noisy terrible ride

Big, heavy, gas guzzler, but people love them. Long live the V8. Nice review. Thanks.

I bought a 2005 SE Off-Road edition to tow my rv and do some camping. Best decision ever, this model is a beast. The car is at 180k mileage and still clean and strong.

No BEV can match an ICE for longevity; pure physics. A hydrogen FC EV possibly, but no one knows for sure yet. Buying a simple high quality naturally aspirated ICE is like buying an insurance policy

NIssan Armada is the ideal SUV on frame auto in the US - and it tows 8500 lb. Sometime after all V8s are extinguished, then this vehicle will be worth a small fortune to those fortunate enough to have held the line against the small displacement turbos.

Look you don’t need a bunch of extra gears in your transmission if you have a V8. V8’s have more torque. Torque is the force at which horsepower is applied. If you drop down to a V6, then you have to add a zip tie to the nut sack/turbo. To make that V6 scream. However it still won’t have the torque of a V8, so they add a couple of gears to the transmission. Which in turn complicates the transmission and exposes it to problems and troubles. Ask Ford and a host of others with their 10 speed transmissions. Also reduced Engine life because of the nut sack ziptied..

I had a 2014 Armada SL and traded it in August 2023 for a 23 Armada. Loved, loved my 2014!!! 2023 mechanically is nice too and with all the exra "smart" additions.

I had to rented a 2023 one and it looked good, but not very comfortable to drive. I’m 6’4 and the driver’s side was very cramped. The steering was very tight. I own a 2023 Z71 Tahoe and I’ll stick to American SUV’s. V8’s are still great to drive.

The V8 Nissan Armada impresses. Guess it would be a little pricey to operate.

this is the way. great vehicle - what more could one ask for? what's a better value than a used Armada? i wouldn't touch an EV if you gave it to me for free. (i'd sell it to some sucker and buy one of these) if TPTB truly cared so much about the planet - we'd already be driving cars that run on water vapor. (yes - the tech has existed for decades)

I was about to purchase this vehicle until I realized that I have a height restriction in my garage. The vehicle would fit fine BUT there is not clearance for the liftgate to open all the way. Nissan in their "wisdom" removed the variable height setting capability on the liftgate of the Armada. It can only open "ALL THE WAY". Everyone else (even Nissan on the Pathfinder) allows you to set a maximum height for the liftgate to open in tight garages.

"Public Opinion" is something that can never be realistically and accurately assessed, especially in modern america. Personally, the 'public' who's opinions I asked in reference to ICE versus battery powered vehicles all pretty much were the same, with an initial "woah this is so cool, its just like, a giant ipad" which, over time, faded to "well... Yeah, It would be really nice if they werent disposable." The few people I know who invested in a tesla were the kind of people who could have literallly been maimed by a battery fire during the test drive, but would still justify being bent over on the price due to the supposed "supply shortage" citing features, investment, how much the earth loves them, etc. always circling around to donald trump's twitter if I hung around long enough. The others would be coworkers, friends, farmers, etc. who need reliability, and an actual utility that doesnt require planning.
