A rainy day pack up, flooding dirt roads, kangaroos and country towns! Well that's a wrap for our 2024 Outback Australia trip. It absolutely pours overnight! It was a slow and careful descent of Mount Kaputar in the wet. I had to hop out and move some rocks off the road that had come down overnight.
Next we turned south to by-pass Narrabri, along the last of our dirt driving. This was a bit of fun with water across the road and a mob of kangaroos with us most of the way.
Then it's a drive through green fields, bush and country towns, back to our starting point of Newcastle.
It's been a wonderful 3 weeks and I can't wait for our next one! Thank you for joining us, I hope you enjoyed the trip!
