Thanks Joe, Seems that most of the stuff coming out is becoming way too complicated, the eye mini is on the right track keep it simple cut the cost, I think GSPro is the best option for course play so we pay a subscription for that I don’t want to pay another subscription to unlock the unit. Basically just sell me a great unit that’s accurate and can connect to the software of my choice. The average golfer just wants to enjoy a round of golf at home with ability to practice. Realistically if you want to improve on the real course you need to spend time on the real world course, let’s face it at home our experience is limited by how we hit of a perfect lie on the mat, then we get out on course and the grass is nothing like our home mat, the ball invariably stops in an indentation, sometimes it’s dry or wet soft or hard and the only way to practice for that is on course, driving ranges still give you the same consistent lie. So for me I just want something that is fun to play at home with accurate ball flight and club path at an affordable price. Cheers Ken

The price difference of almost $2000 is insane. Uneekor literally retired eye mini. What a bummer I just bought eye mini a month ago…

Joe, enjoyed the video! It was interesting hearing your take on the PGA show. Regarding EYE MINI LITE, I think you missed a very important point. Given the required cabling it is not going to be suitable in a sim setup if you want both right and left-handed players to be supported. It’s a question you should ask them. Does it even work for left-handed players? It seems to be right handed only from everything I’ve seen. NO BUYERS REMORSE HERE, I have taken my eye mini to the range and enjoyed using it there. It confirmed I suffer from IHS - inside hitting syndrome, LOL. I guess it’s possible the range balls were “hot” but I think it’s me. Seems I need a club or more inside. The Eye Mini drew a lot of attention & questions as well. The other big surprise of the PGA show was what wasn’t there. Nothing new from Garman in the way of launch monitors.

I just ordered a Foresight Falcon - come in next month... but having a lot of second thoughts about whether or not the unit is worth it. Like you said - maybe its already good enough with the older tech? I just got exhausted weighing the pros and cons. Was considering the Uneekor Eye X02 but had such a disappointing experience with them over trying to order the Eye X02 that I just gave up.

Think we'll see an update of the Exputt RG or Garmin R10?

The Mini Lite is just what I want 👌🏻 I’ll most likely keep the Rapsodo for outdoor use. So no Ex Putt will be bought 🙂

Hi Joe, I'm also interested in the new eye mini lite.Hopefully it will be available in the UK.If they implement the unlock fee it will be a big turn off for many of us😔.

The uneekor overlay on the mat could be very useful if it can somehow overlay the club path on the hitting mat . edit: just saw that foresight has something similar.

I am so gettting the eye mini lite when it comes out Just out of curiosity is the eye mini region locked? (ie could it be imported from the US if required)
