Yay for your planner peace! I think we all in the planner community can have our experimental stages of trying new planners and systems but we’re all striving towards planner peace and a system that works for how we plan, log and/or journal in our planners 🤗 I love your spreads btw and how you try so many colorful fun layouts within the same book 😍✨
Well said. Planner peace and finding a system that works should always be the goal. There is something to be said about sticking with what works and opting out of FOMO/impulse purchases. Happy writing.
I am in love with your spreads. Happy to see someone continuing a working system next year! You're right, there is value to that, and I appreciate this video a lot! I tend to gravitate towards channels who offer how-tos, and other value-add. I have already subbed, so thank you!
My line-up is: A5 Midori One Day One Page for my daily journal. A5 is a big step up for me. I used the A6 in 2021 and 2022, so lots of extra room in an A5 (planning on embracing white space). B6 Aura Estelle Essential Weekly for my planner. I did purchase a Sterling Ink B6 common planner, but decided I did not want my planner and journal in the same book. My planner is very functional. Not much deco, if any. A6 Hobonichi HON for my well-being journal. I work from home, so I carve out time mid-day to journal just for 15 minutes or so. In 2024, I plan to practice my penmanship daily. This also does house some health stats. Passport Sterling Ink Inserts (Monthly, Weekly-Horizontal, blank). The blank for passwords and such, weekly for a companion to my B6 planner and monthly for penpal tracker. These fit nicely in my TC passport cover which I adore.
I really appreciate your perspective in this video! After using the Hobonichi Cousin for a year, I’m going to try out the Aura Estelle B6 Daily. I wasn’t using the weekly spreads in my Cousin, so o think the layout will be better for me but I’m feeling nervous about the smaller size!
I hope the passport book works out and you're not having buyer's remorse once you experience it. And you have the ability to print your own so maybe keep going with that if it doesn't work. Did the rings arrive before you left? Are you playing with them now?
Also, I am also very on the fence because I want a "yearly insert" and a quarterly/quintile insert for Sterling Ink. I know that it's challenging to do what Catherine did, so I don't fault her for not announcing the inserts at once.
