Sound on! I have taken a new spy video of the facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 Facelift during some hot laps on the Nürburgring. This is also the first time that we could film the updated digital dashboard of the GT3 Facelift while he was standing at the side of the road.

When will the car industry realize that these screens do not = better luxury. The way the 992 was set up was the best of both worlds, refinements to that set up was all that was needed.

Porsche has begun pandering to the mainstream, and not car enthusiasts anymore. And the ordinary masses prefer screens and hate buttons and analog needles, so unfortunately, this is the way it's gonna be. Porsche has lost my respect slowly. It's lotus that'll be the new Porsche for me

@@siddharthsharma8940 They just built the 992 GT3 RS, which is the most crazy hardcore tracktool you could ever imagine, especially from a "mainstream"- manufacturer. You have to understand that a huge company like Porsche cant just build lightweight cars for Purists only. They make most of their money with Cayennes and Panameras, which gives them the opportunity to reinvest that into building crazy cars like the new RS.

The analogue dial in the 992.1 is one of the most beautiful features of the car. Looks so much worse now. Very weird decision from Porsche.

They should add an option to spec analog dial. If i had the budget for brand new gts or gt3 I’d much rather have analog as in my base 911 992.1 carrera

Please have 4.2L, 525PS(125PS per 1000cc, 518HP )/500nm(369ft.lbs), 9000rpm and 545PS(130PS per 1000cc, 538HP) for the RS.

The new dash board for the .2 has been know for atleast a month now. It is effectively the same as the Taycan, all glass. 5 dials now history. Had a few chats with Porsche, since ordered another 992GTS, but the allocation is the issue, I want a .1, not .2 for both the power train and dash. Keeping my 992GT3 too.

Pretty sure we won’t see the .2’s until model year 2025, so getting a 992.1 GTS should still be feasible.

@@EDay340 Would be nice, but I am informed that the first .2s will arrive mid to late '24. And I am third in the list. We'll see, and wait for the launch in Oct/Nov23 for more details.

I have a Carrera T on order, it is 2024 model year which will still be a 992.1 with analog tach and 7-speed manual with the 3.0 L with turbo
