tubedude92 its actually really reliable, but expensive. we just had a $5k maintenance job done, consisting of fluid changes vacuum pump replacement and a few others, most of which you can do yourself
@@tobiaseaton200you will get there bro. I have the luxury of driving this car daily-ish because my parents have this vehicle but I want to buy my dream car myself without any support from anyone else just like my parents. We will get there bro
{SIGH} 🥹 I've watched this video so many times while waiting for my car build 🥹 Carrera Metallic White with Red & black interior. It’s FINALLY here!! 🎉
Even porsche started to make fully electronic gauges :( (not countin' taycan) Also, the previous chime was better Audio system needs more bass imo, but idk how speakers sound irl Still a good car tho
lol no one “buying” this new is 1) actually buying it, they are all leases and 2) if someone, likely an LLC, did buy it new, it’s cause they wanna depr the entire vehicle year 1, since it’s over 6k gvwr, they aren’t keeping it more than 3 years. These are problems for the 2nd and 3rd owners
Does anyone actually change the gauge cluster brightness frequently? I feel like I adjusted mine when I bought my car and haven't touched it in the eight years since
My mom has a Cayenne S E-hybrid with the high-end Burmeister sound system. The ELS Studio sound system in my 2020 Acura RDX is somehow better. What is it with Volkswagen and audio? They just can’t seem to figure it out!
Audi has a similar problem, the lowest brightness is still very bright. It's bizarre considering lots of economy cars can achieve very low display brightness, and Cadillac even has the Saab-style night display.
Finally he talks lmao the Z4 drive was more quiet than normal 🤣🤣 Edit: Ofc in Porsche fashion you can barely even see the engine with all that dumb plastic in the front engine as well 🤦♂
Honestly, get an X5 for literally 10’s of thousands of dollars less - it’s gonna be slightly more reliable, better looking, return better MPG, be quicker, and has 3 years of complementary maintenance. It drives very similar, and if you’re not gonna be tracking your SUV. If you want a real Porsche get a 911, 718, or Taycan
I absolutely love BMW but after driving a bunch of modern BMWs and Porsches, I am disappointed in how numb the BMWs drive - even the M competition models. There is a real lack of driver feedback whereas Porsche maintains that lovely mechanical feel with every input. The BMW feels like a video arcade controller in comparison. That’s not even mentioning that the Porsche suspension and handling are a level above. Now does that mean Porsche is worth the extra price? Not necessarily. Value for $ is with BMW 100%. I’m just saying if you want the best driver’s vehicle and can afford it, Porsche does deliver better than arguably any other brand.
@@trevorphillips3922 I’m not saying BMW is the best driving - I’m saying if you’re buying a luxury German SUV, there is no reason to get THIS over an X5. People are not tracking their SUV’s, these are primarily soccer moms going to sports and school. A 911 or 718 is always going to be better than a M3 or M4, no doubt, my point is in the SUV market the X5 is a much better buy
@JRB41 your going around and saying this. porsche can evolve if your talking about this singular gen. Also some of the parts for porsche comes from audi since audi owns a bit of porsche
Neon LED strips isn’t the only layout that qualifies as ambient lighting, he shows the ambient lighting in the video and it’s more elegant than Mercedes by far. And much better brightness adjustability. Plus he has it turned down to the lowest brightness level in the video.
