Grace, Gaga got nominated at the golden globes, critics choice, SAG and BAFTA for House of Gucci. She only missed at the Oscars. So I don’t think it’s so accurate to say that people didn’t receive her well in that role.

I still haven't been convinced that Zaslav is planning on selling WB. Everything he is doing seems to contradict that. Spending major money on DC's new studio over sea's and his announced plan to acquire a studio whether it be Paramount or another studio doesn't make sense if he is trying to sell. I know that is what he does and I respect the opinion of Grace and others that have covered this but just seem counter productive to me.

Most of these movies were made by the previous management. Such as Furiosa, Mickey 17, LotR movie, Dune 2, GxK.

The first Joker had a lot of mental health issues for it’s theme, can’t help but think the same for the sequel. Especially with Lady Gaga in the mix, maybe it’ll have its take on toxic relationships? Lol who knows, isn’t this sequel a musical or something?

I really don’t understand the obsession with WBD being sold lmao. A lot of economists and Wall Street people are keen on WBD remaining as is and not being swallowed up by another company. WBD and Paramount merging means inflated debt as well which is not appetizing to anybody. WBD is expanding to grow and that’s it lol. Games was mentioned as well but just very very recently it was rumored that WB Games might be buying a gaming studio themselves to bolster up their gaming division! Nothing so far points to WBD being sold and (its pains me to say this) I feel bad that the efforts Zaslav is making to improve WBD’s portfolio is being dismissed as just him trying to sell. Like, why can’t he do it just to improve the brand period?

My main concern with Hollywood and other industries is that seem to be embracing the management styles of tech companies. And the tech companies are chaotic. So that isn’t an industry which I would imitate. I would like to see more collaboration in the entertainment space.

I think whatever they do they need to keep DC, Mortal Kombat and the game division, and their horror movies in the same spot. Also it would be a good idea to get some properties based on Manga/Anime since Netflix has been doing well with the ones they made.

No, Harley Quinn has never surpassed Wonder Woman in popularity or even sales in comic books or movies. Harley Quinn couldn't even have a successful solo movie of her own. The only modest successful solo thing Harley Quinn has is her animated series which Grace has pointed out has a niche audience. Wonder Woman has had two solo movies and has an upcoming video game in 2025 or 2026. Wonder Woman comic book also outsells Harley Quinn comic book title. In the action figure market, WW easily blows Harley away. Harley is the second most popular DC female character after Wonder Woman.
