How many of you will choose X5 over Velar?

After a lot of consideration and hours of deciding, I think that my Tata Nano is still the best car.

So basically Land Rover’s getting inspired by Apple’s sense of product pricing and giving out their vehicles at an insane rate, removing features from their mid-range cars and giving all of them to the Rs. 5crore SV. Not to forget NOT implementing any changes in their looks in the slightest bit. AND with all those points covered, the cars STILL seem desirable. Well done Land Rover. Well done.

Rightly said. This is a degrade rather than an upgrade.. Removed the extra screen for ac controls which was the identity for velar.. No physical buttons in center console.. You don't have to make the center console this much minimilastic for this price.. Surely cost cutting and increase in price.. Not expected from Tata..

I would like to see this simplicity in design brought to the safari and the harrier. Honestly guys, just imagine the new safari with a normal steering wheel slightly better done and without the illuminating logo, and the 12 inch screen intergrated into the dashboard like the old velar. Some physical buttons replacing the fingerprint magnet piano black plastic control module in the dashboard as well. Voila, you have a perfect car !!!

Last year 2022 my family purchased velar i am literally thanking god that we have purchased the velar last year itself but with cost cuttings which land rover does very silently firstly the rotary gear knob which used to come with the car was removed with that electronic gear lever the fully digital instrumental cluster was replaced by semi digital cluster the panaromic sunroof was replaced from panaromic moonroof and also the foglights but after seeing this type of downgrade in the name of facelift and also the 20 inches alloy feels very small as compared to mine instead of purchasing a range rover people will now go for a pre owned range rover or jaguar f pace

Would have considered if it had a v6 engine. X5 or X3M40i is a better option

Bro I used to love Velar because of that Interior ❤️. Now it’s just like every shitty car. Damn I used to dream about buying velar someday.

The reason for not giving sun blinds in the rear is if you give all these things which can be fittings afterwards then the price of the vehicle increases and due to increased in the price the tax structure to import the car in India also increases that why they are not giving. You can fit these things at the time of delivery from the showroom itself.

The thing is that sunroof was changed to fixed panaromic roof way before the facelifted model. You can see in reviews which were done in 2022 i think..

why does every modern car have touch screens rather than buttons, I mean come on, who in their right mind wants to use a touch screen with no proper feedback compared to buttons. It's so inconvenient and Dangerous too and mind aching.

At this price point, you don't even get a sunroof 😢. The design looking good and and the build quality is also good but the only thing is at this price point you don't get so many features and that is very disappointed 😔 for so many Range rover fans🥲😢.

Exterior rocks however Previous model interior was good looks rich and innovative with usable ac knobs etc and in current model only a single screen to toggle everthing its very distracting to operate all from one screen instead of physical buttons while driving specially in highways interior is not at all impressive look so dull..many Velar buyer will choose other options because of this move by JLR
