I love your book map 😊 I also love how you use stickers which shows others that you can be artistic but using the stickers on bullet journal is good way to decorate your pages.
Your journal is so pretty! I am doing my first journal this year and was feeling nervous about messing up, but I feel better now with you saying it won't always be perfect 🫶
The map you drew is amazing, what a great talent to have 👏🏻💛. I also love every aspect of your reading journal, from the layout to the calligraphy and decoration, I think it’s lovely 😊
Im doing anticipated releases for the first time in 2024 too!! I'm calling it new releases for the year..I also did 'tbr for 2023' this year and I was able to fit 20 books a page (i did 2 pages..so 40 books)..definitely too much..although i did read 31 of them!! Im doing 12 books this year for my sanity tho😅 I love the dutch door idea..i already planned my journal for 2024 but i think I'm going to have to move things around to fit in the dutch doors!!
Honestly 31 out of 40 is quite impressive! I had 35 and only read maybe 13? 💀 To be fair, I had too many tomes on the list that were over 500 pages haha. The dutch door is seriously a game changer, I'm so excited about it!!
This looks absolutely stunning! And I am so excited to set up my reading journal soon (funnily enough, I use the same journal as my everyday journal for 2024). Also (super random) you sound super nice and happy in the voice over which really lifted my spirits 🐝🌼
Oh thank you sm!! It's so much easier to keep up with things if it's all in one place, less to remember haha. And your last comment is so sweet thank you! 🤧💕
I love what you did with your reading journal! Love that font style you did for your headings! And the map. I wish I could draw something like that but it feels intimidating haha and i hear you about the dutch doors! I love dutch doors myself 💛
needed this so badly for not only inspo but motivation lol i also used to draw everything back in 2020 then also switched to the collage style once lockdown ended and i had way less time hah
📙📘 Remarkable employment. I stand inclined towards, the reading goal. It peeks like a board game. I loathe anticipated releases because of unforeseen occurrences that might fiddle with receiving. 📘📙 #ReadingJournal 📘📙
@@cassandralynnreads I decided to print out any maps from the books I read this year that have them. I have a Conan the Barbarian map already in place.
This is so so beautiful. I am bullet journaling for the first time this year and I am struggling BAD with lettering and creativity. I have ideas, but getting them to come out well is the problem lol
Good luck with your first year of journaling, you've got this! The skills you mentioned are things you can practice to get better at! This is my 7th year journaling & I can 100% promise you that my art used to be so much worse 😅
@cassandralynn7 thank you!!! It was so awful that I just ripped two pages out and redone it. I'm as happy as it gets with it now so don't be afraid to cut it out and put washi tape over it lmao
This is my first time doing a reading journal and I borrowed so many of your amazing ideas, particularly the library spread, and putting sparkles around all my headings. Thanks so much! PS. Why do you only do a 6 month flip through rather than a monthly spread video too?
Ah happy I could lend you some inspiration! I used to do monthly set ups but they got to be a LOT of work. I did one every month from 2019-2022! I instead incorporate my monthly set ups into my "monthly reset" videos now.
Thank you for posting your video, so much inspiration! I looked on your links and couldn't find the clear stickers that have the feather, books etc. Where did find them? Thank you!
Just out of curiosity on the library tracker page… would it be Cass’ library or the Cass’s library like you had it? I know it’s your name but I know sometimes with all the s the apostrophe changes location
Love this! ❤ Also, I love seeing Shadow of the Hegemon on your TBR! I just finished the Bean series this year and adored it. I don’t ever see other readers my age talking about it!
I'm excited to finish the series. I had tried reading the Ender Game series, but couldn't make it past book 2. But I think Bean is a more interesting character, so I'm curious to see where his arc leads!
@@cassandralynnreads Please, gift yourself a stamp with five stars for your birthday. When you started "books read" spread and then said you read around 100 books I was expecting your hand to fall off :D
Your reading journal videos are just the best. I love the clean designs but what I love the most is how much fun your voice overs are :) Greetings from Spain :*
What Genre do u enjoy reading most? I read cozy mysteries mostly. Though I have found some cool Disney mystery books to read. I never knew about Reading journal this is very cool.
I don't, but it's super easy! I just put the book covers into a google doc, make them all the same size (mine are 2.2x3.4cm) and then print them out on label sticker paper!
I was looking for some inspiration for (finally) setting up a reading journal for my next vlog and then I found THIS!! 😍😍😍 I LOOOOVE some of your spreads and will definitely implement some ideas in my reading journal too!! (Although I'm not as talented as you when it comes to drawing, so it won't look that good... 😬 But anyways, it will be fun nevertheless 😇) Thank you so much for sharing! 🧡
this map looks splendid enough, though! I think you have absoooooolutely no idea, hoy many would like to draw maps like this one even! soooo, please, don't be too hard on yourself!!! Love love love for everyone! this years Moravian saying is "Let all that you do be done in love." (1. Cor 16,14).....I really people will take that to heart....especially in politics...but also in literature!
Hi Debbie! First off, thanks so much! Secondly, I couldn't find the stamps that I used online. I bought them years ago at Michael's in their dollar-ish section. The brand is Studio G if that helps! They're not the best quality, but they get the job done! 🫶
Hello from another Cassandra Lynne (though mine has the E)! I think the map turned out beautifully. And I love the ret of your set up. Just starting my own reading journal for the upcoming year, and you've got me inspired. 😊
😍😍😍😍😍 love your spreads, Cass!! Your map though, gorgeous!!!! It is amazing! I love it so much! I cannot wait to set up my 2024 reading journal, it will be my second one. 😊
OMG Can you please tell me where you got that stamp set from?!!? I have been looking for a "Celtic" or the "Old English" font in a stamp set for weeks and I need it! Its my favorite style of lettering. Also I love this! Im finally going to start my first reading journal in 2024 and im so excited! Thanks for the inspo your work is amazing! :))

AH i saw foundryside and this is how you lose the time war on your 2024 tbr! they're two of my all-time favourites. may i recommend the locked tomb series to you, if it's okay? it's sci-fi fantasy horror. also one of my favourites. i adore your spreads- recently i just haven't been able to read things? like i religiously read fanfiction but the normal books seem so... bland, comparatively now 😭
Oh that makes me even more excited to pick them up! I haven't heard anyone on my channel talk about Foundryside before! I will say I'm a wuss when it comes to horror, so while I do appreciate your rec, it depends on how horror heavy it is 😅
This was so beautiful. I too love using stickers and paper to make my journal super nice ☺️ I was wondering where is the letter stamps from? It looks really pretty 🤩
Just found your channel. Straight away subscribed. Love the vibe of your reading journal. 2024 is gna be my first year I try to journal. Thanks for the inspiration xx
Holy crappp, I loved loved loved your journal 🖤!!!! That mappppp, never have I been so glad of my procrastination traits that I still haven’t put ink into my journal lol.
I currently own way to many books on my physical tbr so this coming year is the year I am going to buy 0 books! we'll see how that goes but im trying to read my physical tbr and save money also I have zero space on my shelves so! 2024 the year of buying no books!
@@michellemp1626 I don't really go my library I have access to audiobooks and I own way to many books so it won't be a problem. if I need more reads my parents have like over 3,000 books so I can just read those...

yea! I would love to see notebook companies use something else in the place of the first page, so that you can use all pages efficiently@@cassandralynnreads
These pages look absolutely stunning!! I totally agree, adding sparkles makes every page better. That was my personal journaling revolution in 2023 haha I haven't set up my 2024 reading journal yet because I still have quite a few pages to catch up on in my 2023 journal (oops) and I want to do that first. This video gave me a spark of motivation to actually sit down and do that!

Cassandra, your journal is so pretty! I clicked on this because I saw your gorgeous map and would love to put a reading map at the beginning of my journal. Then fell in love with your lettering. Do you have a post showing your header font in more detail, and where you got the alphabet stamps? They work so well together! Cheers 💙
Looks great 😊 I printed my trackers on sticker paper (a bookshelf from etsy and created reading logs on Canva). I Will just change the colours so they don't look the same. So much easier than drawing a million tables (reading log, library logs, series trackers) every Quarter. I will also use some stamps and stickers / washi to make it look nice. And yes to not updating regularly. Sometimes I do it after every book I finished, sometimes at the end of the week / even month. I do the covers and ratings in my monthly wrap ups and also one reading log for the whole year as a list with title, month, and ratings
