Wow, lots of action and excitement on the track thank you for taking the time to show us all the action, I noticed the bear “What bear” wasn’t there, oh goodness, it was fun at the track, You guy are my favorite
Lots of action there. The Professor will get you going in the right direction. Couple more runs it will be up to you Charlie. Thanks for the video. Linies to you!
Charlie, got some sad news. One of your Uncle Carl's long time car owners Stan "Butch" Robey died Tuesday evening. As you know he was a long time supporter of the entire tri-state area racing scene. Butch loved nothing more than going to area race tracks whenever he could & many will miss his familiar face at Dubuque, Maquoketa & Darlington Speedway's. If you would be so kind to mention Butch in one of your future videos it would be appreciated. Tom, Genie & Butch are now together in heaven & will never miss a race again!! Thanks good luck this season & be well!!👍👍 Danny W
It’s typical it takes time to dial a car In especially since both of you are new to the class and to the car. I like the idea of the professor getting the car up to speed. Then you can develop as a driver. Kinda hard to develop as a driver in miss handling car. One this that’s so different up your way is 90% open trailers. It’s completely opposite here and you see mostly enclosed trailers. Even FWD use enclosed trailers. I don’t have one in fact one like yours would be nice because of not having to load tools, generators ext up every week.
So we keep the open trailer for Dubuque... it's a blast to park inside the track, and open trailers only are allowed there (enclosed go on the backstretch). When we travel to new tracks this summer we'll probably go with the Professor's enclosed.
You can't go off the way he drives Charlie. I saw a guy take a backmarker car all year get in it start the feature in the rear and win with it drivers are not all the same
