How much crazier is the turbo 146 vs the turbo 154? Ordered a 146. Should technically be able to tighten the strap to take some wheeling out of it right? I don’t ride anything crazy steep

Do you recommend 146 for average rider if you need to stop in up hills? With 154 you can stop and keep on going but will 146 let you do it?

the 165 would be an incredible sled for anyone! The 165 is truly a go anywhere you want type sled!

The 16” wide track has been the single biggest problem with skidoo the entire time it’s why the doo wants to get pitched down hill every time your on a rutted up side hill. They had to come up with that tmotion flex edge crap just to overcome the handling disadvantage. Now they are finally getting a clue and going 15 like poo and cat. Only issue is they still haven’t narrowed the rest of the sled so now the tunnel will drag in a trench that’s to narrow and the running boards will “panel out” then finally in like 2026 or 2027 they will narrow the tunnel the full inch and act like it’s some break though and marvel of engineering haha they probably still ship with torsion springs though 😆

@@wileybird69 fact is fact 15” tracked sleds hold a better side hill it’s well know fact. It’s literal physics that if the tunnel extends out an unnecessary 1/2” that it will drag more than if it wasent also unarguably correct. And people still spend thousands of dollars every year to get rid of the torsion springs and upgrade to a better suspension solution and loose weight. And I can ride just fine thanks. Are you telling me that if next year they narrowed the sled tunnel to match the track and upgraded the sus to a coil over one just one model and not the other ones you would give up those advantages and snowcheck a different model that was unchanged? No way in hell you’d get the better one !!! Keep drinking your mint flavoured doolaid !

I'm sorry having one caller and that's it for a sled. That sucks because I just absolutely hate the colour of that sled and so does half a dozen people I know that I've seen it.

I haven’t been this excited for a new sled in a while. Was really tempted to go 146, but ended up going 154 turbo. And yes, those spindles will make a big difference. And oh oh oh that 15” wide track and ridged skid...can’t wait! That’s why I went with Lynx last year to begin with. Get rid of that t-motion flex edge bullshit! Can’t wait!! And that color!! Nailed it!

Can you please talk about riser height. You both look to be 5’8” or thereabouts. I’m 6’7”. If I tried to ride a 4” riser I would look like a monkey on a football. Should the handlebars be at my gut, waist or hips? Appreciate the input.

2.5 will be the best option for you for east coast conditions and when you come to the mountains.

Will not go back to 2.5 inch track after going to 3 inch. It struggles with 2.5.not ad much release also. In deep powder the 3 inch u feel wayyyyy more confident it doesn't sink and raiser to get in and out through sketchy places . From a stop you can be unstuck no problem

I Just ordered a 154 N/A. Plan on a jaws pipe, Diamond S can, and a Stage 2 Map tune. Should be a wild ride.

No. Hopefully they actually ship with the correct chains this year. Saw a video of a brand new sled that was shipped with the wrong chain installed - I wonder if that's why they've been grenading this year?

Is the tunnel narrower? Or can that fit a 16” wide if you wanted to swap out the track?

I’m debating so much between the 146 and 154, I currently have a 146 na wanted to get the turbo R to feel that real power, Does the 146 still go in deep pow I don’t wana get something I can’t go in deep snow with. Great vid btw 😜

It’s a tough decision for sure ! But either way we think you will be happy ! The 146 is still super capable, in the super deep the 154 is going to go a little better as it gets on top of the snow quicker and that. Either sled is plenty rowdy and the fun factor is high !

@@JayandBlaineShow “For years we at Ski-Doo built sleds with exclusive features (16” track, t-motion, etc) that no one wanted. We have now listen to you the consumer and the professionals (most of which never used these features) and built a sled as close as we could geometry and spec wise to a Polaris. Now everyone is pumped!

@@taylorwright4782 Yea, at least they don’t break down nearly as much. This is coming from a poo rider that is checking a doo because 2 poos 1 week apart are both in for warranty. 1 fuel pump (hopefully not a season ender) the 2nd track drive bolt snapped and destroyed tunnel (season ender) both sleds just out of break in. Both great machines. I’ll keep one of each!
