Maybe, but I think being 36 and riding for 30yrs in snow deeper than the debt level of most guys on the hills I know how to handle a sled. I've ridden new stuff, I do rentals when I feel like there might be something slick that's new on the market...all said and done nothing except for better skid designs and maybe turbos everything is just cake decoration. Fancy shocks, narrow and tall seats that are uncomfortable if you are forced to do any sort of mild riding with kids or newbies. The actual tech of the sport hasn't changed much, just the package fella🤙

@coryernewein open your eyes haha sleds have changed a crazy amount over 20 years....literally a different sport now. Unless you just ride tame

@@coryernewein Not maybe, definitely. I've been mountain riding since the 80s and the sleds in the last ten years are light years ahead of the old stuff. We're riding in zones that were impossible to reach before. Kinda scary at my age.

@@d23mdk4 things have really stagnated since 2016, axys to matryx was an improvement but it wasn't that massive a leap.

It's rather complicated and I think direct injection is necessary for it to work

you need a LTO battery there big in the car audio world D4sound sells a nice little one and so does xs power

@@NightshiftCustom it's way more involved then that as there is no starter either. Shot starts after like 1/2 a rotation of the crank and I believe the only way for that to work is with very precise fuel delivery.

I agree that colour sucks. My 23 Freeride has 0 issues at 1600kms so let’s hope it stays that way. It is one rowdy machine

And these accents drive me insane. And they trench like mofos. And they still don't have rider tracking. And they haven't addressed the ratcheting/track tension. And they STILL sit too low to the snow - even with the new spindle. I also noticed a few guys in the comments section on Doo's release video say that they ordered SHOT with their spring order, but it showed up with electric start. YIKES. And removing the hood is STILL a pain in the ass and I bet they're STILL hard on belts as well. If I were to get one, it'd be the all black NA Summit X. I like the adjustable limiter strap, I like the short tunnel, I like the reliability of the E-Tec, I think SHOT is amazing(as long as it came with it and not electric start), and I've always liked the overall refined feeling that the Doo brings to the table. But what would prevent me from getting one is the chain case failures and the track problems. That and I don't like how the brake and chain case take up valuable foot space. I'd have to put aftermarket spindles on it right away to get it out of the snow and play with the suspension in the rear to hopefully prevent it from trenching. Either way, I'm waiting for Cat and Polaris to release their lineup before I do anything. And yes, I'm bored. Sorry bud :P

@@208SledHead "i seen 4 videos online of chaincase failures out of 10000 sleds" lololol chaincases arent actually that bad but should def have a belt drive, these failures are caused by the 2 piece driveshaft and tki has a fix for it -the cats are by far the lowest sleds to the ground -unless you ordered a base model you got your shot started like i did -trenching is completely dependant on sled setup & snow conditions -you shouldnt have to remove your hood in the first place, ive rode doo 8 years without changing a spark plug -havent blown a belt on my 23 -x package doesnt come w adjustable limiter (at least in 2022) Youre a cat fanboy with baseless opinions and thats all youll ever be lol
