I witnessed the one several years back. I'm from South Carolina. It was an awesome experience. Truly once in a lifetime. Did you see the diamond ring effect? That was my favorite part! And you're right, the crickets were going crazy for the one I experienced lol

That's so awesome Shawn that you got to see it from your house! I went to Mazatlan in Mexico to go see it, hands down one of my favorite experiences in my life! Definitely liked it more than the 2017 eclipse. I was with family on the beach drinking beer and there was a lot of cheering from all the people there.
