This new range from Swift is only available at certain dealerships - its also basically a watered down Conqueror and feels now better value with cheaper price tag - see what I think about this twin axle tourer is it worth a look if your in this market sector to replace your old tourer?

Bought a 2023 model back in September and we absolutely love it, living area is superb, bed is huge being 6' 1" and feet doesn't hit the bottom board. Can recommend whole heartedly

Hi Andy, that's a really nice caravan with a good touch of luxury added in. I love the bedroom design with the solid sliding doors and that extra bit of width makes it look really spacious. The washroom looks very well finished too, only gripe for me would be the locker doors. I don't like the tape finish it makes it look like a money saving touch in what is a luxury spec van. Kitchen is nicely finished I like the stainless steel sink. Great review as always it's great to dream for a short while.

Yes that tape on the locker doors not a good idea - plus they are from the Sprite range just tarted up which I think spoils the effect of a really nice tourer - yes a nice van and great to hear your thoughts - there is a new Xplore camper van being launched by Elddis next month - but in 2025 Elddis is getting a complete makeover and rebrand so I am told so we will see - thanks Kevin

Hi Andy, i must say the L shape lounge is growing on me, i like the fact Swift uses a stainless steel sink as at one point esp. in the sprite range they used a ceramic thing, (not in my era van though.) i like a good sized sink as i don't like washing up outside in the communal areas. Mid ships is fine, and bedroom is great, even with the small over head light vent thing. what i think is important is whatever the sunroof or vent thing the most important thing is to have a fly screen and black out blind and on any opening, door roof vent etc

Think we could see a more of a return to L shaped seating - very sociable to be honest and bedroom is great too- great as always to hear from you and comment on the videos - thanks for watching

I like this van a lot, but was surprised that the larger entrance door wasn’t carried over from the 22/23 Conqueror - wider and taller. I agree about a larger roof light over the bed would have been nice too. Overall, it’s pretty impressive. Do you have any idea where the weight difference is between a 2023 Conqueror and Challenger Exclusive version e.g. comparing the 580 models with very nearly the same spec there’s 73kg difference and taking into account equipment differences accounts for about 23kg, there’s still another 50kg difference!? Is it possible its the cushions and mattress or ….? Any ideas? The figures i used are from Swift brochures.

Hi thanks for the comments interesting, no all I know is that the Challenger as Swift told me was a lower spec Conqueror - I think they will do okay and its aimed at the Unicorn as far as I can see thanks for those interesting facts
