Tata has market the 5star safety thing so much people like you who don't have any idea how a crash test is conducted , are having an expert opinion as if only tata is responsible for saving your life. And I guess I know where you are coming from. Most probably instagram reels. But read this carefully. NO CAN MAKER HAS or IS CLAIMING THAT THEIR CAR CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE SPEED YOU DRIVE. Not even volvo. Yes, it's good to prefer a safe car. But to buy a car just because you are blinded by an marketing campaign is actually showing how easy it is to fool people like you. Here are some rules which might open your eyes(if you want them to be opened) 1st) GNCAP does crash test at 64kmph with an still object , not an moving object. with rule that a car must deform 50% in case of crash that. That means if you crash your 5 star rated safety car at 64kmph only then you are safe in that car. If you drive at around 120-130, that 5 star safety has nothing to do with your safety. And now if we consider that you hit your car in an still object at 64kmph only then you will come out safe. Let's there is a truck coming at you with 64 which has more mass then your car & your car is at 120, that's more then 180 kms impact & because your car has less mass compared to that truck , your car will take the most impact & in that case if your car is not deforming , my love, it's your body which will take all the impact. Even volvo says clearly that if you drive car above certain speed, even their car can't save you. So you better open your eyes before trusting desh ka loha. 2) Safety isn't just about sheet matel., It's your car's structure , the chesis , the amount of safety sesners it has (ABS, EBD , ESC) & sorry to disappoint you but when GNCAP does crash tests, they turn off all the safety sensors because with that sensors working , the car would not crash in the 1st place. You see ? Again it's you who is responsible for your safety. Drive your car under legal speed with all the safety equipments in check you will avoid most of the accidents. And by legal speed I mean under 120 in highways. Anything above that is considered illegal. So if you drive your car at 180, got crashed , the companies has nothing to do with your safety. You can sue them in court, even government won't help you because safety applies when you drive under legal speed. 3) A safe car is something which can PREVENT the accidents in the 1st place. This is where your car knowledge becomes helpful(if you have any). If you drive a car which is easy to handle at any speed that means that car is already safe. Because there's no sense is buying a 5star rated car & not able to control it & then blaming the car companies. YOU need to get used to the speed 1st. Suzuki Hayabusa bike has 4 cylinders 1.4 L engine. Baby boys like you can't even handle that bike in normal speed. Now if you ride that bike & crash it , does this mean that bike is unsafe ? of is it the rider who needs to be trained 1st ? Oh by the way , the bike that you drive daily at 70-80 kmph has no safety ratings on it. So don't be an hypocrite ass who drives bikes at 80 without any kind of safety but wants a car which has 5 star safety rating , the safety ratings system you don't even understand in the 1st place. And before you say "But I wear helmet while driving bike" Your 2k or 3k helmet may save you at normal speed but at 80-100 speed even that cheap helmets can't be trusted. Why don't you check how helmets are rated ??? To save your head on a bike you need proper 50-80k worth helmet. So good luck with your head which is already spolied by Tata's marketing team.
