As usual this is the toughest job, hence 100% agree with Harsha. But going by the tackiness of the surfaces in USA and Caribbean, I would pick a 11 where I could potentially keep the left-right combination going with WIND playing a major factor in the latter half of the tournament esp in Super 8. I could use two left handers apart by QDk as floaters depending on match situation as both of them can play anywhere (Nicky P and Axar). My playing XI would look like. (Very hard to let Arshdeep Singh out but I'm using Naveen's unorthodox action for swing and deception and Bumrah's genius for death) 1. Rohit Sharma (C) 2. Quinton De Kock (WK) 3. Suryakumar Yadav 4. The only thing I thought watching this was picking 3 spinners was 1 of the big choices of becoming the world cup champions, so I would also expect 3 spinners in the team of the tournament :-p But Harsha has himself covered as always.

Axar in place of stoinis because stoinis bowling wasn't good enough to be in the XI... with heavy heart Nortje in place of Kuldeep because I wont be having 2 wrist spinners in my XI cos in a bad day they leak runs...So Rashid is more economical and Kuldeep cannot be picked if Rashid is the lone wristy....
