I’m a huge vols fan but been keeping up with your channel in silence for over a year now. A very fair assessment from you and I for one greatly respect that. I think you’re right on the money with TN going 9-3 this year. If the year shakes out the way you predicted it I can definitely hang my hat on a win against Bama and Florida. Like the video Jackpot. I hope you're wrong about your Kentucky pick but 9-3 is about where I'm thinking we'll finish too. I don't see UT making it through the 4 game, NC State/OU games 4-0. And Georgia is gonna be as tough as it gets. I factored in another loss because Tennessee always drops a game that comes out of nowhere that no one could have predicted them to lose. Hopefully, if we do finish 9-3, our 3 losses will be good enough losses to get us into the playoffs. All that said, I can't wait for the season to start! GBO!!! 🍊
Another good one Jackpot! I couldn't agree more on Graham Mertz. It keeps them up at night and they just can't stand to admit it, but Graham Mertz is a top QB in the SEC right now. Wiscy is a running team, so of course they're not going to have great receivers to throw to. If you were a hater, pause and let that sink in, then go back to enjoying that all you can eat crow buffet! I have to disagree on the running back situation. Montrell Johnson is a former conference player of the year and has been picked as a preseason All-SEC RB by your pal Mr. Steele. The O-Line he was running behind couldn't stop a group of 1st graders from getting to an ice cream truck last year, but they've improved in that area from what I've heard. Most of us could average 3-4 ypc behind a good o-line. Still, if Mertz doesn't have any targets to throw to and they're 1D, Johnson won't be going anywhere. Receiver is the position I'm the most concerned about.

Pretty good breakdown Jackpot. As a Vol fan I see us losing to UGA, Bama and OU. Call me crazy but if we lose to Kentucky then Heupel should be fired. We have way more talent than them. Zero excuse to lose to them.
Man, losing to Kentucky at home off of a bye week…..I just don’t see that lol. I’m not saying UK isn’t good (they’re going to be a solid 7-8 win team), but besides the COVID year with no fans in the stands, all the close games with them have been in Lexington. Obviously, I think losing to Bama is much more likely than UK. I’d definitely take the Vegas under at 9.5, 8.5 seems like the tougher number to bet on. I think Tennessee is a 9-3 team in 2024.

Also I have some surprising NC State stats for the show. Great break down. 9-4 a disappointing 2023 is kinda funny considering where we’ve been in the past. Also Cats have no chance in Neyland if they wanted to beat us they should have done it in Kroger in 2023.
I think our fanbase forgets how bad we’ve been for awhile. We’ve won 20 games in the last 2 years. I think it’s been 20 years or more since the last time that happened. Heupel deserves a long leash.
Way too many of our fans overestimated Milton after the Clemson bowl game to cap off the 11-2 season. I was very alone in saying he would be very average. Unfortunately I was also being too optimistic 😂
