Great night time video. Most videos I find online are in the day and this shows a much better idea of the lighting all around. I’m literally deciding between an S or an X right now in the ultra red and I can’t deny how sexy the S looks in any colour but especially this red.
Exactly the trim and color I want to buy. BTW, the gear selector at the base of the phone chargers is the backup to the screen in case the screen goes out you can still drive the car. Most people seem to think its a primary and you can use it that way but its actually a backup.
I have a 23 Model S. I am loving the placement of the horn in the middle of the wheel! Model S feels so much luxurious than my Model Y. I am surprised at how much attention the Model S gets from people considering the body has been pretty much the same for a while, no one ever cared about the Y. Perhaps because you hardly see new Model S on the road, mostly you see 3 and Y’s. It’s a a bit flashy and I had to get used to that. If you ever want a smoother ride or would like to fine tune the air suspension select advanced mode and put the soft slider on the lowest setting then place the handling setting to mid or sport, depending on your preferences. I noticed the car rides smoother than comfort mode by doing that.
I have been doing research on what to get Tesla Model S Plaid or Lucid Air Grand Touring... i guess i am settled on Lucid Air after this video. You should do your review daytime.
I have the fear that the battery will ignite in a severe collision and the Model S will be engulfed by flames rapidly. Hopefully, this is not a valid fear, but I do not know. Any feedback on this? Has Tesla worked through this concept?
@@lsmeteor4652 I have the left scroll wheel configured to raise the suspension every time I enter a specific driveway and it always remembers that location.
Just had the steering wheel replaced with the mechanical horn variant in my 2023 MSP. This is the way it should have come delivered, the horn button was just a dumb idea. Also, as of May, 2024 there is a software update that provides functionality for the Auto Trunk feature, although it only works if you have IOS, according to the update the Android version will be along soon.
I also have a model s plaid 2023, that horn side button is driving me crazy, how much did it cost to replace the steering wheel for the new one? Not sure it’s worth it but it’s just irritating missed so many times honking at someone since it’s a reflex thing
@@stephen2220 oh ok I have the round steering wheel. Did you have the yoke? I don’t know if they will cover it under warranty for the round one. I guess I can try and see what they say
@@Razors378 No, I had the round wheel. Create a service request and say that the left turn signal on your heated steering wheel stops working intermittently. Per Tesla SA: Request mobile tech to replace with updated Round Steering Wheel - Mechanical Horn & Airbag Assy.
So I just traded in my 2018 Tesla Model 3 for the 2024 Tesla Model S, and I got the standard stealth gray exterior color, white interior, and I stuck with the standard wheels and covers and everybody say they really like them, and so do I, and I saw no need to pay an additional 6K for the 21 inch wheels, that results in less range. So you said that you are 5/9, well I’m about 5’10/11 or so and I found that the backseats were terribly uncomfortable, and quite cramped, and so it was unbelievably uncomfortable, and I said to myself, if anyone is traveling long distances as a passenger sitting in the backseat, they had better bring along a pillow, and a back support cushion, because at least in the front seat you have lumbar support, but you don’t have that in the backseats, and so I don’t know what to say about that, other than, I was quite disappointed, that Tesla hadn’t put more padding in those seats. So thanks for the walk-through on the new Tesla Model S, I love the color, but not the black interior, I did consider the color, however, at $1500 additional bucks, I said no way, and I noticed you got the round steering wheel, I stuck with the steering yolk, and at first, I didn’t like it, but now it’s starting to grow on me and I’m getting more comfortable with it everyday, and what can I say about FSD version V12, as it’s absolutely awesome, and now that the price has just been cut from 12K to 8K, if I didn’t already own it, I’d be all over it. We own a 2022 MYP and are thinking of buying a new LR S. But we are waiting to see if Elon makes any changes to the current car, given the rumors of a front camera, ambient lighting and lord knows what else Elon might sneak in. We are in no hurry as we love our Model Y Performance, but a new S is in our future.

Something does not look right here. Last year I got the 2023 model S Plaid , ultra red ( color cost included ) , except the 21 inch wheels and it was 89k.
Ultra RED is the DOPEST color. That car is fast as hell!…u need a serious car to contest this thing. U need a hyper car to even think about beating a plaid. The Model S is incredibly fast..even a dodge Hellcat would take an L .
Gorgeous. Why would you remove the rear screen protector?! Foolish move. That rear screen is going to get scratched up from shoes and people shuffling back there if you have kids.
The protectors that are preinstalled are not made to be used permanently, they make the screens look low quality/resolution. If you really are worried about your screens getting scratched, get some glass protectors that won’t make the screens look low resolution off of amazon.
