9-3, Texas Tech is really talented and has depth. Two top 25 recruiting classes in a row. Will be a 3rd in 2025 class. They have Tahj Brooks who is a top 3 RB in the country. Tech is gonna surprise.
@@thenotsojollyrancher-akate9516 NFL is 2 and done but yes he is def a future pro. And Joey stated recently he will have an impact day 1. They just held him out of spring for a cleanup surgery so he wasn't on those published depth charts people use for these videos.
@kylesummers1565 Jerand Badley and Loic Fouonji left because their inconsistent play would have them way down the depth chart. By the end of last season, Coy Eakik, Jordan Brown, and Drea McCray passed them on the depth chart. Coy looks like the guy with the production we thought Bradley and Fouonji would give us, Josh Kelly is a very productive transfer, and Caleb Douglass is at least what Bradley and Fouonji are, TJ West is coming on, and we brought in Micah Hudson. They weren't going to get a lot PT and our WR production the last few seasons just wasn't very good.
Tech won't lose to both TCU and WVU. Those are coin flip games and I expect Tech to split those. TCU is an ok team but doesn't have a quarterback. WVU is a very good team but will be beat up late in the year after a brutal schedule and they historically struggle in Lubbock.
over/under to me on paper is 8.5 Wins. WVA is a good team but they also lost really good OL that make other players shine. Tech lost last year on the road by 7. Getting game in Lubbock to me gives Tech the advantage. That travel is ZERO fun. But they are healthy on paper and have fallen short of that at QB the last 3 years. Another sneaky one to watch is Arizona. Tech's offense has massively upgraded at WR/TE and maintains an insane power back so that offense could do enough to steal a win over a really good Zona team. Undefeated teams typically have insane confidence and belief. Tech offense should be really good this year. --again if QB is healthy!! Defense might face some growing pains and teams like ISU/OSU could take advantage of that.
