I tried to avoid all the spoilers, stayed away from any social media. I was driving home from work to watch this and listened news from Finnish national radio station. My jaw dropped when they announced that Niklas Anttila had won a disc golf pro tour event. I'm so happy with the way it came. Disc golf is one of the biggest sports in Finland and this means so much to us. Thank you Jomez for making this feel like live coverage.
I think it is an insult to Jomez to say it feels like live. They have been way, way better than live for something like a decade now, and still are (despite the degraded scoring on rounds other than the first, which are still perfect).
@@daemouIt definately is! I wanted to say that I like Jomez showing the chase card checkings and scores on real time with the lead card. That makes it so much more exciting than just showing the scores and checkings hole by hole.

I remember first watching Niklas when he won the Finnish Nationals in 2020 and thinking this kid has every bit of talent to compete on the US pro tour. At 19, he showed world class angle control, super smooth putting, and the clutch factor. Huge congratulations to Niklas and all our Finnish disc golf fans!!! You got a heck of a player, who's a joy to watch and now the first ever DGPT FINNISH CHAMPION. Best wishes from California.
WOWOWOW. I watched him in person at 2022 USDGC where he only lost because of Gannon's absolute fire putting in the final round. He is such a talented and smooth player and no one on tour deserved it more. The raw emotion had me cutting onions as well.

This is the most exciting and fun round Ive watched yet! As a viewer I loved watching this course, it’s fun when there’s a lot of holes within birdie+eagle range so it’s cool to see the drive in each of the players to show a fluctuating leaderboard and these top tier pros each have their own style. Great job jomez! Even capturing the flight of the discs with super low light! Thank you for providing excellent crisp and quick coverage and production. Also congrats to Niklas!
I was watching this live yesterday and I have really been wanting to see him win one, even last week with Luke in the mix, I was impartial to either of them winning but I know Niklas sacrifices soo much for this sport as any and all of our European friends do and the level of respect I have for them to be here in foreign lands, on foreign time to keep playing at the level he's been playing at, it's very well deserved for him to not only have finally won it, but to do it in a manner that will give him all the confidence in the world moving forward. Huge congrats Niklas!
I watch regularly, and have never had the emotions on any round like this one. I’m beyond happy for niklas to be able to take it home. Thanks for making me cry Niklas.

This was an absolute rollercoaster to watch live. Dead tired and stressed at 3 AM in my bed after seeing him miss the easy putt on 14 I was sure that there was no way to come back but glad I was wrong! One of the most nerve wrecking rounds of disc golf and a great coverage to relive this historical moment!
