In this video, we walk you through step-by-step how to set up your Pole-less Nomad 4 Moto-Tent which can be used for camping anywhere.
Simply the best compact tent option for your motorcycle journey. Not too big that it weighs you down, and not too small that you can't enjoy some company for a good night's rest. Abel Brown would like to introduce you to the Nomad 4 tent.
New for the 4th release, we addressed the biggest issue folks have when using a single wall tent - condensation build-up. We have now created a vestibule on one side of the tent, protecting you from the elements, but allowing airflow to come in and flush out the humid air inside your tent through the long vent found at the crown of the tent. This creates a stove pipe effect, bringing cooler air down low and hot air out the top. It also gives you a great place to store your boots without tracking any dirt inside your tent.
The Nomad 4 also is compatible with our Nomad Tent poles for those who seek a campsite away from their bike, want to keep their bike upright while exploring the area on their bike, or use the tent when you're without your bike.

There's no mention on the website of what material the tent is made of. Is it Sil Nylon, Dyneema / Cuban Fiber or what?

Crap, you're right! Somehow it got erased from on the page, so we'll add it back on now, thanks for pointing it out. Although Dyneema would be amazing!!! That would be a bit more expensive for sure. The upper is 20D Nylon ripstop, silicon coating on outside and PU coating insude. The base is the same but it's a 40D nyon ripstop to be a little tougher against any rocks or sticks. Hope that helps! Cheers

@@AbelBrown-tj1ug I agree, Dyneema/Cuban Fiber would be more expensive. I have to say tho, it's worth it to me for it's light weight and water proofness. Doesn't hold/absorb water like nylon. So I'm not putting away a wet tent in the morning and pulling out a wet tent the next evening. Don't have to pull it out while taking a break during the day, to lay out to dry in the sun. I noticed a guy in a BDR ride video I was watching had what looked like one of your tents. Had to look it up. I like it. Thanks for the reply.

Seems easier to have a Dome two Man tent 🎪

This one is smaller, lighter and no need for complicated poles. To each their own, but this has been a great alternative for us over the past dozen years

Looks like a good tent, I like how small it gets!

How does the material do with the heat of the bike? Will I have to let the bike cool after riding all day before setting it up?
@AbelBrown-tj1ug
@AbelBrown-tj1ug Год назад
Definitely want to let the bike cool down, great question.

Sure, it weighs about 3.5lbs, including the aluminum kickstand plate and all stakes, etc.

Thanks for your comment. It's $249 with free shipping. Quality isn't cheap, and cheap isn't quality, but we've done our best to make it keeping price in mind to make sure it's not too expensive while maintaining a high level of quality. Doing our best here for our crew

Shouldn't the bike be leaning away from the tent? Otherwise there is the risk that on a wet and windy night the stand could sink into the ground a little and the bike fall on you while you're sleeping. It's a remote chance but still a risk.
