No you won't. We will always have distractions and we are not in control of things that happen to us. But you might find good ways to deal with them when they inevitably do come. Your response is what you are in control of.

I remember when I attended Oral Roberts University and many of the professors took it upon themselves to go trap Brother Copeland confronting him about the Word of Faith/Prosperity Gospel. Before they could confront Brother Copeland he was coming out of a meeting with Reinhart Bonke. The main ORU professor who wanted to confront Brother Copeland was from the Assembly of God Church in Germany and a missionary worker in South Africa during the time Bonke was there, so he briefly chatted with Reinhart Bonke before he confronted Brother Copeland. It seems this was the time Brother Copeland had committed hundreds of millions of dollars to Reinhart Bonke African ministries. Upon receiving this information from Bonke, the confrontation with Brother Copeland was mute. JESUS IS LORD

Jesus walked this earth with no money, relying on people feeding him, serving people, washing their feet and dying for them. Are you willing to do that? Or is it just nice cars you want? If Jesus wasn't spared humiliation, embarrassment, beatings and death, neither will you be in this life. Are you really following him. Your blessed when you mourn, when you're poor in spirit, when you're meek ..no mention of being blessed when you get a nice car. The former are virtues and values to live by. The latter, mere material things that will not go to the grave with you.
Faith is the most important thing, and Christ and Him Crucified that brought the power of faith to us. Never never stop preaching Faith. It is impossible to please God without it, therefore why wouldn’t it be the key thing. Praise God!
Bible is Bible. Weird of faith is not Bible. You will always be distracted because you are not in control of what comes your way. What you might be able to do is find ways to respond to the distractions. That you are in control of. Jesus did not come to take away all your distractions, but to help you in those.
