Online outboards. The non bolt through ones are cheaper online imo. They often have good deals and the only added cost is freight and tax. For bolt through motors like this one, even if you buy them online, they have to be shipped to a dealer for install otherwise they will void the warranty. Cost is negligibly different at that point. For power trim/tilt, a must in my book for my boat, cost savings by buying online was maybe a few hundred bucks but the dealer puts you at the end of the line. I went through the dealer and don’t have to deal with anything and as soon as it shows up, they will install same day with free check up service after break in. Will also have a shop to handle any warranty claims if needed. Like I said, anything not needing a bolt through, it’s likely cheaper online. Look for the overstock inventory items. They go for super cheap.
