@@lovelymadhu2012 I was looking to buy one this year and I was quoted a final price of like $29,600 and change in NYS (that's after taxes, fees and dmv charges).
Toyota got rid of the Front-wheel-drive RAV4, so if you don't need or want AWD, and you want a slightly taller seating position than you get in a sedan, and you want a Toyota, then the Corolla Cross is the only option for you right now. Hey, I think I just sold myself on getting a Corolla Cross for myself !!!
I got the FWD version. 240 pounds lighter and fewer parts to fix and replace. The Hybrid is 1,000 lbs heavier. So figure that into the 'gas savings' like they always do. At that price range/ get a RAV.
@@luckyguy600 How does it handles snow? I'm still worried about toyota front wheel drive since owning a 2013 matrix, was the worst experience of a car in snow that i ever felt...totally bad even with blizzacks...
Finally a Canadian review. I have a question I'm hoping you can answer. I have pre ordered a LE all wheel drive model to replace my current corolla. My main reason is because I feel my current car is too low and I want to sit "higher up" like a suv. Did you feel you were sitting higher up compared to a corolla sedan?
Hello from the Caribbean great video. Happy to see you're reviewing entry level cars. What percentage are the freight PDI and tax. Very informative video
I currently daily drive a 99 4runner limited. Which is obviously a gas hog getting like 14mpg, I’ve been looking to into maybe getting a base Corolla cross for the good mpg and Toyota reliability to substitute my 4runner since I wanna keep her more garaged and conserved because they’re becoming sort of classics now.
Marcello my man! Great video! About the corrolla cross's entry level headlights, I don't know! I feel like led projector headlights with a halogen reflector light doesn't really look appealing. I really like the entry level Rav4s headlights because they have the black bezels around a reflector led headlight - it looks more aggressive, what do you think about the Rav4 LE and LE hybrid headlights Marcello? I am getting the Rav4 hybrid LE in black!
u get a nice light white interier all we get in australia is black black or black make it look so dark inside even has a black roof lining but least we get 17 inch alloy wheels as standard
Aaaa you got the 'funeral home edition' too eh on a LE? I just spent over 2,000 bucks on a tan interior to cheer me up. The cheap one gets the two-tone/ the EX gets the two-tone/ and we poor sods get black on black on black. We got the 17s too in the 2023 with michaline tires. The cheap one gets the Continental. I chose the FWD version. IU have no need for the electric 4-wheel drive here in Canada. Never had/ never will need it. It just has more cost & parts to fix & replace, and 240 lbs to drag around too. At least it is basically the same engine. But in the Far East, they still put in the older engine. They have like 8 factories pumping just these crates out. The Far East has a nice grey-red interior I have seen. You need an education to follow just one model around the world. The Cross & Rav/ Caray line was built in Russia. But that was taken away from them. But I digress.
That's toyota for you; you bought base? No rear wiper, hubcaps, no intermitent wiper...you pay for misery...and more for A le, se, xse, they get you if you buy base...no soup for you! :)
@@theadvocate4698 i have an adjustable intermittent wipers on a 2006 Camry LE. I bought a 2023 RAV4 LE - and dont have that. i assumed this is standard on all vehicles by now. i thought wrong. :(
I don't see any info on rollover tests being conducted on the CC. Other small suvs have this test done. For CC it say no data. Rollovers are a bit concern for suvs.
27,885 MSRP (Dealer) 1395 Dest 1395 Discount Lots of people say “look at how big my discount was”, happy smiling faces. the actual MSRP is 25,095, the above is a “Jacked” MSRP, jacked by the Dest amount Everyone who writes off their cars does not care about Jacked MSRP. Do you? Jacked MSRP adds 2.2 Trillion dollars to our debt every year. Quess how much to car prices?
At frame 3:30 mark look at the recommended oil sticker in the engine bay. Ow- 8 oil. New for 24, I hear )6 for 25 folks. But I don't see anybody buying it. Only Toyota sells it for like 22 bucks /litre. No, thank you. Not ever going there.
@ricardokim544 Cause my elantra was better lol. The only thing different that I like about this new car is the ground clearance, takes off better than the 2018 elantra i had, and the PDA feature.
@@HerbalistAce so why do u prefer the Elantra honestly in my opinion I wouldn't pick a Hyundai over Toyota especially Corollas that is always built to last
That engine started life in 2018 with 5W-30 oil/ then 5W-20 weight oil/ then Ow-20, Ow-16, and now Ow-08 oil. Sorry folks. That ain't gonna happen. I have a 2023 Cross and 'allegedly use 16-weight oil. I hear that right now Totota is working on an O6 weight oil. All for domestic use in Japan. That huge country where they drive 1,000 miles a day for 6/7 days to go the length of it. NOT These people are just a little crazy. And get rid of the V8s and V-6s and put in 4-cylinder engines with 'TWIN TURBOS' in their trucks. Kaboom is what will happen. Have they lost their minds like they did the war? I like the M20A -FKS engine as far as it goes so far. But I will not kill it with waterdowned oil. Sorry/ warranty or not, I plan on this being my last vehicle and I get 450/300 thousand out of the past two Dodge Caravans. 5w-20 every 3 months or 3,000 km got me there just fine. But hey. If you want to use anything you want to in your engine go right ahead. Enjoy. Of course, I could be wrong. Allegedly that is. lol
I test drove this model Shame on Toyota Flintstone like car? No push start No alloy No tint Too many knobs Inside door looks very aged Tjis guy obviously paid in my opinion
