In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Toyota #Corolla le then take it for a test drive. The Toyota Corolla is a safe, reliable and affordable sedan. The Corolla will not wow you with performance (except the GR) that I explain quirks which will bring me to my pros and cons.

Opening the truck is not the problem, there is a lever on the drivers side where the gas lever is and it’s not a dealbreaker

@@HawkeyeRides here in Canada we got the L trim as the base, the LE is the one next and for budget wise yes the LE is the one, 16 inch tires is perfect for that size and with winters here, rather have steelies as they are easier to replace l.

We just bought a 24 and it's the le it's got wheels not hubcaps, and the next model up didn't have much more to really make me wanna go up, it's got the remote start alot of nice options for the price

The Sedan IS a significant amount of legroom over the hatch. Hatch is 29 inches and 5 inches more legroom of the Sedan makes a huge difference so you don't have to figure out who is sitting behind who!

There is a trunk release on the left side of the drivers seat. You don't have to shutoff the engine.

Not outside which is what I am talking about, like when you buy something at a store and walk up to your vehicle you do not have a quick release. Here you use the key fob as you see me demonstrating. Every review I explain if it is a quick release or power release or if nothing on the outside like I show but thanks for your input

I have a base 2024 Corolla SE as a rental this week. It is very efficient… I am getting 38 mpg while driving it like a, well, rental. Downside, the car has zero passion. The CVT and engine combo are rough and noisy. I personally find the seats very uncomfortable. No doubt, it is a reliable and efficient appliance, but as a car enthusiast it has zero appeal. I could see the hybrid as an amazing commuter car.

I have a 2022 hatch Manuel trans.. .. TOYOTA DOES NOT GET IT.,,,,, we do not want CVT My complaint of the car… It sits TOO LOW and when parking you have to always park away from curbs or you bottom out the car the electric parking brake is intrusive and a pain in the butt. While my six speed manual at high wayspeeds I wish I had a seventh Gear with the gearing. it seems that he center pillar is positioned so as to impede left and right vision and you are always Fighting blind spots. the last complaint is that the RAV and the corolla 2021 22 23 has a defective part that fails at the 30 to 50 thousand period that Toyota has a a class action lawsuit. COOLANT VALVE CONTROL…start leaking out the electric connection or fails internally. Toyota refuses to recall the part but hopes you exceed your warranty

Yeah I'll just take the bottom of the line model where there is less to go wrong and don't have to fight with the dealer about over priced BS options. And do your own TTL at the DMV to avoid even more BS dealer charges.

I went to two dealers for 2024 corolla le, and they have added $900 dealer accessories like etching etc., and they don't even take it off even if you don't want it, and they say that they add it to every vehicle on the lot.

@@HawkeyeRides you welcome, just thought I would let you know. I currently have the 2020 Corolla LE that I have had for 3 years and also only 26k miles on it. Mine does come with the switchblade key still and will be done paying for it in 2025, but also has the 1.8 litre engine which has been proven to be reliable.

Rear Suspension would be better with Torsion Beam more durable than IRS a big plus @ over 200k miles. Rear disk brakes won't last as long as drum brakes. Unknown if the 2.0 will be as durable as the 1.8 engine. Still uses key yea🥰

I have the 24 Corolla LE in Celestite as shown. Not understanding what you mean you can’t unlock the trunk without the key fob with the car running. There’s a trunk release on the floor by the driver side along with the fuel door release.

The le doesn’t have a button on the key for as you know so yes you can pop it inside but if you have the car running and your outside you have to go inside to open it 👍

I just bought Toyota corolla hybrid 2024 and have same system for android auto, but I have issues with that, I hope you can help me. I always getting connections timeout, and if I'm using map or listening to music in my phone it all stop and I have to go to settings and reconnect again, and keep timeout happen over and over, even if I connect with USB, what you think the solution for this issue? Thank you

I would take it back to the dealership, it sounds like it needs the software reset or updated. In my vehicle it needed the dealership to program it as it was still in demo mode.

im having trouble with lower back pain in the 2024 le, does anyone else have this? ive never had back pain in a car before, im 5’7 155 pounds, workout 5 days a week, so i know its not my back, i just came from a chevy equinox and was so excited to get the new corolla but ive been regretting it for the past 2 weeks ive had it! i had to take muscle relaxers to be able to sleep after a 45 minute drive in it.

For taller people it can be a little uncomfortable which I talk about in the review (the seats are small). Coming from the Equinox, I would say yes it’s normal as that is also an suv so you will be going lower to get in and out.

It might be, but i dont think its just the corolla, the newer cars seem to be going for a "cocoon" shape on their seats with their head restraints tilted more forward due to safety regulations.

Basically does not exist in Texas. Have to go beyond the reach of Gulf State Toyota to get one. They prefer to load the cars with addons and not include the convenience package so they can get more money out of you. Plenty of people are getting around that by going on a ski trip in Colorado and then driving home with their new Corolla for less though.

The base model should be around $14-18,000 for having spare tire rims with plastic covers for one example... 22k is overpriced. And they would make more profit having the price that low, especially with the economy for certain states or countries. The Camery should be the sedan within that 22k-28k range.

@@easy288think about how sad this is.. the cheapest car you can get in America today is the Kia forte. That’s $19’000. Back just 15 years ago that would have gotten you a decently trimmed Corolla. Now it gets you a base model Kia.. back in 2009 my dad bought a new Suzuki sx4 and it was only $13,000.. I don’t understand how they expect poor and working class people to afford this stuff. It’s getting insane.

So frustrated. I bought my 2024 Corolla LE 2 months ago. I regret buying mine because of the CVT transmission. On acceration it makes jerking movements. Ive brought it back to dealer and they said this is normal for these cvt transmissions. They ran a diagnostic test and showed me it was fine but I hate this feeling. I am a senior lady and dont like the feeling I might get stuck. I traded in my 2004 Corolla S that ran smoothly for this. If this is "Normal" it really makes me regret buying it. :(

@@swtfunldy1810 Toyota doesn’t like to fix problems on their cars so much for the warranty. I rented a 2021 Corolla SE and it was so loud and buzzy I thought the engine was going to fail. I had a 2009 Toyota Camry XLE V6 that ran way smoother than the Corolla

The head is not rebuildable (laser etched valve guides) ,electric water pump. Plastic valve cover. Over engineered and doesn’t get much more mpg’s than the 1.8 also very noisy valve train.

My Buick 2000 has a plastic valve cover..so what does that mean. It doesn't effect the motor. Look at your Nissan's. Their CVT transmission get stuck in 1st gear. Numerous vehicles where I work are rented and these things happen. Toyota has good vehicles and some are now made in Mississippi.

My issue is there is basically no bumper anymore .One good bump and the plastic front end would explode and cost thousands to repair.

@@superaa6779 The car companies really should do a better job of making replacement bumpers affordable. The only reason they're so expensive is you almost always have to respray em when you get em. If they just made it so you could order the color you want, then have body shops polish the cars before fitting the bumper on, they won' have to worry about color matching unless the car is 10+ years old and faded.
