It is unfortunate to see that this still the same old fortuner albeit with some cosmetic changes. This car is long over due for an all new model. Toyota is just milking every peso from buyers who deserve an all new one and not just a face-lift model which is already aging since a couple of years back IMHO.
They are the only ones who can, not just in the Philippines but around the world. People just trust their vehicles. Toyota is going to milk it, but there will be a new one coming out soon.
This is savagely true! Like come on Toyota PH! They really need to keep up ESPECIALLY internal design and internal tech specs not just with the lame cosmetics changes. 2024 na hindi pa nka electronic/AT handbrake. Analog cluster pa? They just milk every PH buyers just because of the Pinoy mindset na “It is a Toyota AND a Fortuner”
@@streamingvideo6654 Chinese brands have no choice, they don't have a reputation for reliability or durability. They need to earn that over the decades like Toyota has. Essentially the issue the Koreans had before they became trusted and popular, they need to prove themselves over time, the only way Chinese can sell cars in foreign markets is to offer more for less.
I don't know what it is about Toyota's camera resolution, but it always seems so low. We have a Toyota C-HR in the States and a Fortuner & Corolla in the Philippines, and they all look like old camera phone resolution. But the camera resolution in our RAM & Strada looks like HD in comparison. Toyota should improve their camera quality to match the competition, but hey, it shouldn't break down right?
Toyota is still oldschool. I sold my fortuner and never looked back.
Next year or this year siguro.
5:13 boss, about dito, alam mo kaya bakit may empty spaces dyan?
finally, someone that knows the difference between dampened/damped and hydraulic assisted to describe the slow opening of the glove box. naiinis ako pag yung reviewer eh tawag sa slow opening ng mga storage sa sasakyan eh hydraulic assisted.
Are your driver and front pasenger seats power control. I dont think you really need cruise control in the Phils unless you're traveling long distance or freeway type. Just my subjective thoughts
When you built a reputation for durability & reliability for decades, you can do minor changes to older vehicles and keep dominating sales even though they are higher priced while having less equipment compared to the competition. I know there are better vehicles than the Fortuner in the PPV class, but it's probably the Fortuner I would still buy. Luckily, if you wait a year, the all new generation should be coming out.
I bought the everest this year. Definitely miles ahead in terms of comfort vs the fortuner If a new hilux is released this year or nxt year i’ll buy it on a 4x4 configuration
We have seen a lot of top brands throughout the history who became too complacent, and they all fell from grace. Nagsimula na nga ata since kumalat mga issue nila sa recalls and scandals all over the news recently.
same design features konti lang nabago, ang tipid ng design team ng toyota kahit kelan. my 2019 fortuner pearl white unang tinging halos same lang sa 2024 sad.
