@@TobyCostaRica - Well… I wasn’t shopping for a Sienna. I am looking for a tundra or sequoia. And yes, they want serious bucks. If you object they just smile and say okay, someone else will. Some of their news smaller cars had as small as a $5,000 add on price.

Toyota distributors and dealers need to be investigated by DoJ for inflating the sticker price and claiming there is no markup. Straight up fraud. I wonder if the parent company in Japan is aware of such dishonorable practices.

Toyota, in my area at least, has the worst shortages and biggest markups by far. I think I've crossed the Sienna off my list due to that. Everyone else has better selection and smaller markups.

I was in the market for a highlander hybrid a few months back and all their hybrids had a $2500 markup. Ended up getting the gas version, which i just sold today due to the fact that the transmission was not responding fast enough, also it was just horrible at finding the right gear sometimes. Otherwise nice car.

@@thetruthyes Even the hybrid is sluggish in the 2023 RX 350h. I can push the pedal down and it is slow to respond. These cars are heavy and need the V6. Toyota screwed up.

... The wait time will be 5 years. I got xle hybrid highlander ... In november, Still no word from the criminal dealer. I wished we could go to the factory and pick it up ourselves like they do in Germany :(

I really really really wish Toyota had a removable middle seat like in the Pilot or at the very least a bench option for top trim levels. Sometimes I need to seat eight or do five in two rows and maximize cargo but I also like top trims. Its a dealbreaker for me that I can't get a three place second row in a well equipped model. Other than that this car would be on my list.

My grand highlander limited is a gem! It has removable middle and third row seats. She's rather old, a 2010 but has been relatively trouble free and is pushing close to 300k miles and running strong! I am waiting on the new class Highlander to decide if I want to trade in my 7 year old Lexus SUV but I am keeping my old Highlander for sure. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

Hi, thank you for the good overview! If you have a chance, please pass a message to Toyota designers and engineers, they are so behind the industry in electronic features. The whole industry now offers ambient light inside, big and fancy touch-screens. No one anymore provides cars with such old round fog lamps that Toyota has on a front grill. Check out what Chinese and Germanise brands offers and copy their features for interior and exterior (meaning, lighting system, etc). I’m a big fan of Toyota and Highlander in particular.I want to buy this new Grand Highlander. But the fact that it’s so behind the industry with a very outdated interior features holds me from buying it. Thank you! A true fan of Toyota.

My dad and uncle have purchased a lot of Toyotas However my uncle passed away I got his 2012 Honda CRV it only has 53,000 miles on it. In great condition. But i want to get something a little newer. I'm interested in a Toyota something similar to my CRV I don't want hybrid all the power that I have in my CRV. I don't need third row seating so I guess maybe I should look at a Toyota RAV??

The newer highlander or latest highlanders LE has unformfortable driver and front seat. Just comparing to our highlander 2018 and 2022. I wish toyota didnt changed the best features of highlander LE.

I have a 2022 Highlander Linited. Not sure why they got rid of the V-6. It's super comfortable and has not caused me a problem other than waiting 3 months as I live in the South and I wanted AWD.

Dear Toyota , I wish you are a responsible company. Why cant you force your dealers no market mark-up. You are allowing this on your website - there is a price code for this. Such a shame. You should review all pre orders and reject orders with markup and automatically dealers will fall in line. Dont encourage price gouging its illegal. Dealers already received covid stimulus money from our Tax payment so they are already well compensated. Please open online orders.
