I've been hard on Harvick in the booth this year. Not today. Great job, keep it up! Always informative, but much more engaging and excited today mixed with the good dry sense of humor. Enjoyed it
This is kinda the footage I was looking for as a person sitting in turn 7. I drove 10 hours home after the end of the race. I recorded the race and the first thing I did was, turn on the fox coverage to see what happened in the areas I could not see. Man what a disappointment!
The sheer number of commercial breaks in Nascar races this year are getting ridiculous. Granted all of the yellow flags didn't help but add in the RU-vid commercials and these full race replays are becoming unwatchable!!!!
Also then don't watch is an option. I remember watching the older broadcast pre 2000 and I would take anything over the last 20 compared to the previous.
They race in the rain on road courses. Plus the wiper can have an aero effect and some teams did it some didn't so they eventually just made it part of the road course package permanently.
Every time they post one of these race replays it says streamed a few days ago. Either you can't access it during the event as it's a private video or they just refuse to post them until today. Long story short, no you couldn't have had this open when you were in turn 7. Hope you had a great time at the event! Was a fun race to watch
Not sure if it's to do with TV deals or not, but it would be nice if they did member live streams and early vod access to them. I'd think about it if they had a reasonable price.
I mostly agree with you. The announcer should have said Larson to the lead when pit cycles are completed. But why the question? Every race fan should should have known that!
I was happy to see Kyle Busch mess up. That guy has been a real pain in the neck lately with his short fuse. When he spun out on that second to last lap I thought for sure he would cause a caution to go up and mess up the race for Larson. Busch needs to take some time off and get his stuff together. I'm tired of seeing him become such a hothead.
Trolls are always going to try to spice up road racing. But the cautions and restarts kept things interesting. No stage cautions was worse last year. The restarts keep the pack tight with good racing.
