I’m in Los Angeles California, they did fingerprint me and took a picture, the officer was super nice regular clothing lol, they had an iPad for me to read the sentence and write my English sentence, they didnt asked me any of the definitions / meaning. They did kept my residency on my oath ceremony and hole punched it.

I’ve been acting so neurotic over all this for the past five months, but my wife has been there by my side calming me down every step of the way. Like I wrote I was stressing over nothing… The entire interview experience was so quick, simple, and honestly kind of relaxing. Once we were done I gave my wife a big hug in the parking lot, thanked her, and told her how much I appreciated her help. I went blind seven years ago and she’s done a lot for me over the years. As you can imagine with me being blind I was terrified going through this process worrying about all the unknowns, my confidence was low, but everything turned out great in the end. If this blind guy can do it, than anyone can! I asked my wife if she could please drive me to my dad’s work on Thursday after my oath ceremony. I want to surprise him on his lunch break by showing him my naturalization certificate. My dad became a U.S. citizen in 2001, and I know he’ll be really happy to learn that his son earned his citizenship as well!

@@USCitizenshipHelpGuide Hello Yes they did took my finger prints and a picture before I head it out to the waiting room. The officer was very professional. He introduced him self and he started a small conversation. He ask me not to sit down yet and I did my oath. He proceeded to ask me the civic questions, and he did not ask me anything else. No definition of anything, after i passed he proceeded to ask me to read the sentence, and then he recite a sentence to me. He proceeded to ask few questions about the N- 400. Not all of them just like 4 questions and he told me my Oath was going to be that day. I would say i was out in about 15 to 20 min. I did not buy anything to study I just study this video and print out the questions. This was in Fresno, California.

Welcome to our channel Otis Hunter. The questions that will be asked for each applicant are different for another applicant. Please review the N-400 application that you submitted to the USCIS since you'll be asked many questions from it. You need to master the answers to the CIvics Test questions Otis. You can test yourself if you have mastered the Civics Test just by watching or listening to our Civics Test videos below. Keep on watching these below even if you are doing something like cooking, cleaning something or exercising, just like listening to music. On June 9....don't be in a hurry to answer especially with regards to the N-400 questions and if you will not hear the question very clearly, always try to ask the USCIS officer to repeat any of the questions. Some applicants failed because they were not able to hear the question well, and just answered "yes" instead of "no"...so concentrate well once the interview starts. Otis, make sure to bring your I-797C, Notice of Action (interview notice letter), since you'll need this document to enter the USCIS building and this form will also let you know what important documents to take with you. Hi Anastasia Deriavova. When the USCIS sends you the interview notice, they will also inform you of what documents to bring for your interview. Other applicants, even if their husband’s US passport and his birth certificate are not listed, they still bring them just to be sure that they have everything while others just depend on the interview notice. After the interview, the officer will give you a document where you will be officially informed if you pass or not. Reading and writing and I did not buy any study material. I use mask but not him. Face to face not iPad. He is not concern about the mask. I don’t feel that is hard to pass the citizenship interview. 🌸🌻❤️Hello Rîlea and welcome to our US Citizenship Help Guide RU-vid channel. Rîlea, you will be asked up to 10 civics questions from the 100 test questions that you need to study very well. We have helpful video links that you can study for your upcoming US citizenship test to help you pass your naturalization interview. Rîlea, our naturalization interview videos, civics tests, and more (links below) will prepare you for your upcoming interview and exams and shall lessen your nervousness. 🙏If you are well-prepared, the interview and tests are not difficult. During your interview Rîlea, don't be in a hurry to answer especially with regards to the N-400 questions and if you will not hear the question very clearly, always try to ask the USCIS officer to repeat any of the U.S. citizenship questions. Review well the answers that you filled-out in your N-400 application. Some applicants failed because they were not able to hear the question well, and just answered "yes" instead of "no"...so concentrate well once the interview starts. Rîlea, make sure to bring your I-797C, Notice of Action (interview notice letter), since you'll need this document to enter the USCIS building, and this form will also let you know what important documents to take with you. Don't forget to bring all your important documents (original ones too) in case the USCIS immigration officer may require any of them. The original documents will be returned to you after the N-400 interview is done. Welcome to our channel Valerie. It's really nice that you only waited for 8 months. Valerie, we have helpful video links that you can study for your upcoming interview and tests to help you pass your U.S. citizenship. Our naturalization interview videos and civics tests (links below) will prepare you for your upcoming interview and exams and shall lessen your nervousness. If you are well-prepared, the interview and tests are not difficult. On the day of your interview...don't be in a hurry to answer especially with regards to the N-400 questions and if you will not hear the question very clearly, always try to ask the USCIS officer to repeat any of the questions. Some applicants failed because they were not able to hear the question well, and just answered "yes" instead of "no"...so concentrate well once the interview starts. Valerie, make sure to bring your I-797C, Notice of Action (interview notice letter), since you'll need this document to enter the USCIS building and this form will also let you know what important documents to take with you. Don't forget to bring all your important documents (original ones too) in case the USCIS immigration officer may require any of them. @@USCitizenshipHelpGuide The whole process was quite simple and in general took half an hour of my time. I was in Wisconsin, I arrived at the appointed time, they made fingerprints and photographed, then the interviewer came out to me and we went into his office. He checked the information about me, asked six questions about history (and chose fairly simple questions), then I read one sentence on the monitor and wrote one sentence that he dictated and this man congratulated me on the successful completion of the interview😅, then he voiced the information to me about Oath ceremony and wish me a good day. Letter about ceremony should arrive in 30 days. I did not spend any money to study, I just used your you tube page😊 Thanks again!

I had my interview in the San Jose Field Office. I arrived at exactly 15 minutes before the scheduled time, and I was quickly arranged to a waiting area after the security check and check-in process. The officer called my name on time and led me to an interview room. She put me on oath first and then proceeded with the identity check, civic test, reading/writing test, and then N400 questions. I made an error on my N400 application form (a typo on marriage date), I was able to bring it up and made a correction on site. The officer spent some time to check and capture the details of the military service I had in my original country before going to some yes/no questions in N400. Luckily, I wasn’t asked to explain the definition of any word. In the writing test, I was ask to write “Columbus Day is in October”. I didn’t write Columbus correctly (I wrote Colombus instead), but the officer seemed to be OK with that. In the end, the officer congratulated me for passing the interview and provided me a paper of naturalization interview result. The Oath Ceremony was not scheduled on the same day. A separate notice on when and where to have the ceremony will be mailed to me in two weeks. Thank you for offering such great online resource for people who are on their way of becoming a citizen!
