Meet Nicholas Stuart. He is a Senior at Jean Massieu School of the Deaf on the USDB Salt Lake Campus. He is very excited for life after graduation.
Nicholas played basketball and really enjoyed being on the team. Some of his favorite memories from JMS are competing in the Battle of the Books and math competitions during his education.
His favorite teachers were Emily Swenson, Lexi Porter, Logan Vondra, and finally Jasmine Taylor. He is a big fan of teachers who are skilled in technology.
Nicholas shared this advice to younger students, “Finish your assignments on time, before you have time. It is so much easier than having to make up the work later.”
He is accepted to Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. He will major in Business and wants to own his own business someday. He will also study sports medicine and is interested in becoming a physical therapist or athletic trainer.
