I placed 2nd in carry optics at this match. I struggled to get into the groove at this match and with two big failure to extracts I couldn’t pull of the win. This match had outstanding stages and was a blast to shoot.
Hello, I’m currently in the army and really interested in USPSA, just started competing few months ago and want to know how to become a member of AMU and participate small arms competitions.
I was shooting 124 gr ammo at this match at 1080 fps. I use a 9lbs recoil spring and for slower 147 gr ammo I have never had any issues. With the faster ammo the extractor with a brand new factory spring couldn’t hold onto the case to extract it. With the case left in the chamber the next live round would feed into the back of it. To fix it I need to run a heavier recoil spring or get an extra power extractor spring.
