This looks like so much fun! Some gorgeous bikes! As a 51 year old steel frame bike lover this is right up my alley! That Waterford track bike! 😍😍😍

In previous generations when children came out of the theatre on a Saturday matinee with a Western double feature like Roy Rogers and Zorro, they'd come out of the dark to the outside with eyes as big as saucers. Well, after a half hour looking at these beautiful classic bikes my eyes are just that big. Some beautiful. Some interesting. Some both. But all wonderful. Thanks so much for putting all of this together. All the best.

Cool. I started cycling,back in 1968..largely due to the Carbutt family. Joined cycling club-Saracen RC near Birmingham ,England. Paul Carbutt was Multi National Champion..spent many hours in his company on training rides and Races….I am Now living in Co Donegal- Irelands West coast and was really sorry to hear of his death in 2004. He is on the front cover of your Cycling Mag…second in line!

I remember reading a review of the Rigi (c.1981) that claimed the handling was so quick (read: squirrelly) that it was hard to take a hand off the bars to shift!

The Jack Taylor is gorgeous in its detail. To think, all the pinstriping on that frame was done by hand! IIRC there's a video of it on RU-vid somewhere...

I really like vintage cycles. I have my 1984 Gios Professional which i rode in all sorts of competitions. I restored it and ride it occasionally and in oldtimer Events.

Great video. That Bianchi at the beginning is fabulous too bad we didn’t get more details on it! Someone needs to 3D print that little thingie from the Victory RD. The original Athena used something similar or maybe the same thing. But they are tricky to find.

Just a quick note. Allegro bikes are (were?) made in Neuchatel Switzerland. Back in the 70s they wear moderate high end bikes in the shop I worked in Boulder,CO. Love your channel. Thanks.
