@@fenway7794 he’s an absolute beast, RTÉ Sports Person of the year award is in the bag I reckon. Your man wins an Olympic gold in doubles then goes to casually win a world championship on his own and still plays it down.

@@tomgreene1843 yep He doesn’t play their game After Rio the media tried to make him a clown figure Now he barely gives them anything He’s a very intelligent man I’ll be at homecoming next Sunday in skibereen Incredible athlete
Yup, as a Filipino almost nobody get the correct pronunciation of my last name the first time. It used to frustrate me when I was younger but I finally gave up, but on a televised international event there is no excuse. You're either don't give a crap about someone or you're an idiot!
@@ryk1265I was shouting in front of my telly « it’s not THAT difficult to pronounce!! ». The poor Greek lad, he did so well and they couldn’t even do justice to his name
@@ryk1265 I think I'm biased as all the Irish Sports commentators do a fantastic job at pronouncing foreign names. They do their homework and get the names right but the odd time they will apologise prior to saying the name if its super difficult.
