Great looking boat. Thanks for the detailed walkthrough. Couple of questions, if you don’t mind. 1. Just to clarify, you mentioned the battery management system… do these boats come with dual batteries? 2. Does it come with a cover? 3. Any idea what the top end is? 4. I live allllll the way in Birmingham, Alabama. If I buy from you guys, could you meet me halfway in Augusta? (probably a stretch, but worth a try)

For 2024 all of the 25 foot Yamaha boats are standard with the battery management system and dual batteries. The boats also come standard with a shipping cover, however if you are looking for a better long term option, consider the black yamaha mooring cover. It is a heavy duty cover that is much easier to take on and off as it has a custom cut to go around the cover. I believe these covers are around the 1000.00 range. I have not had a chance to open up a new 25 footer with the 1.9l engines, but i will tell you that even with the smaller engines offered last year it was a strong setup. My best guess would be that the AR250 should top out around in the low 50mph range. Give me a call at (919) 775-7259 (ask for matt) and we will see if we can work something out with the delivery. nice dual console. my only reason for a jet boat is that rear swim platform, but i hear they are loud. which is easier for maintenance? jet drive or outboard?

Imagine your engine being set on the trunk of your car, vs down in a tight crammed up hole. It’s so much easier to walk around the outboard to do service and maintenance.

Great Question and you will probably get a lot of different opinions. I'm not a mechanic so I'll start with that, but I have been selling both of them for a long time. I would say that as far as maintenance goes, there would be less maintenance on the Jet drive, simply because it is a direct drive and there are a whole lot fewer moving parts and pieces (belts, impeller, lower unit, gearcase, etc...). However, There are definitely advantages to the outboard as well such as the ability to do basic maintenance on the engine while standing.
