I was wondering about that too, but I bought it anyway. It's actually quite easy to kick-start, so please don't let that put you off. Helluva fun bike!
I love this bike it was perfect for what I wanted, single large bore and very classy. I tried to buy one but told it was off the books and no longer been sold in Britain. Not at 60 I looking got a 400 0r 650 single or twin to go out on good week trips or just to go on fun rides.
