Good grief you guys, don't forget to honour the older women (and men) astrologers who are in their 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's who blazed the trail for these guys and taught them what they know. Plus, these guys are terrific at transits, but not so much at articulating the intricacies of the human psyche like other astrologers who come before them. Its always girls who scramble to give away their praise to men in their field, which is how the men float to the top.

Interesting to learn about the 79 year cycle of Mars retrograde. For the Canadians out there: this means the Mars-Leo retrograde cycle lines up pretty close to Confederation, also Canada is having a solar eclipse within a few degrees if its ascendent this year in April. The shadow of the eclipse, while predominently over the States, has a pretty strong presence in some of Canada's major cities too.
@@pjp8850 well, with a minority government we are due for a new election, and there has been a lot of dissatisfaction with people in Canada over the state of inflation, housing, the economy and our health care system. I wouldn't be surprised if a spring election got called and a things got a bit shaken up. To get more specific the implications of a Mars retrograde in Leo which reflects an astrological climate that existed around the founding of the nation, as well as an eclipse on the ascendent I would say that something about the very foundation and identity of being Canadian is about to change. It may not be particularly clear at first though, especially since Neptune is natally conjunct Canada's ascendent.

I would say this is the official door into the age of aquarius. the most important thing for Aquarius is freedom, and we are already seeing how the world population is rebelling against the old system and their plans.
Another forgotten part of the French Revolution is the concept of the "fourth estate". The concept was about media journalism as a means independent of the "state" and its independence was essential to political class. The concept of ideas ( air) revolutionised the way society viewed aristicrocy and the prevailing class system. It is interesting to see how "media " is changing in this new era, and it will be fascinating to see how pluto will drive changes to our perception of media and journalistic review
i must say i appreciate deeply how you did the entire closing section. there was a while there where i was thinking i’d have to take a few extra meds to pass out & forget (it’s a joke but also… not lol). like i guess what i take away is what i’ve seen ppl say that they’ve gotten the message so much in the last couple years, that there’s a “last gasp” and/or rage as a thing comes to an end, and i have to remind myself to get through it. tbh this year was the worst year of my entire life, and same for my family, so i guess i’m just a *bit* sensitive. i have yet to truly analyze in retrospect what went on astrologically this year for me

I didn't realize there would be a Mars-Pluto opposition this year. I was born on an exact Mars-Pluto opposition (12 minutes apart) so I will have to plan something special for those days. Nov 3, 2024 and Jan 3, 2015.
The mars Pluto conjunction on the 14th of February also happens to fall on the exact hit of my saturn return. 😅 I took off work on the 14th and 15th of February. 💀
starting to realize jupiter transits and natal placements in the signs don't get enough attention among astrologers! looking at the last few years, i realize jupiter's transit through different signs has major implications for the general themes and vibes of the year. jupiter in pisces was one of the dreamiest, most romantic and fun times in my life and i was always at the beach. when jupiter was in aries, all i wanted to do was work out and people kept starting social conflicts impulsively. with jupiter in taurus i am making more money but all i wanted to do for a while was eat and watch tv shows about food. with jupiter in gemini coming up i am thinking about starting a podcast about bisexuality. i think jupiter tells us a lot about the general mood everybody is in during a given time period.
2:19:49 I never really thought about it but Mars’ transit pattern really fits its archetype, especially the archetypes of Aries and Capricorn. It does a lot of work, it’s very busy, but once it’s retrograde, it’s pooped for half a year in the same sign before it’s back to work, blowing through the signs and causing mayhem.
In 1972 during the Saturn opposite Neptune in Gemini and Sagittarius respectively, the US opened project stargate to spy on the soviet mission. And there was this whole psychic race between both countries. Now I'm excited to see what will happen with the conjunction as well as Pluto in Aquarius. Seems like weird stuff is boutta happen! Aquarius and Pisces are the strangest combos ever (in a good way).

Pluto has been moving over my Uranus, Saturn, Neptune conjunction in Capricorn for a while, then I have Venus Mars and I.C in Aquarius. I'm a scorpio acendant conjunct Pluto. Breathing excersizes are helpful 😂😢

just a random thing that came to me about the difference between Neptune in Pisces and Aries. Neptune in Pisces makes me think of illusion or confusion through fog (water) and Neptune in Aries would be confusion because of the smoke (fire), kind of like a fog of war
I'm sooo excited for all the Gemini activity with Jupiter, activating my 9th house and my chart ruler Venus! I'm already seeing an opportunity for world travel formulating now that will happen in the spring, so I hope it works out! I'm also hoping for big expansions with my astrology endeavors and my Spanish learning journey. Jupiter will square Saturn transiting my 6th, but I think it will just challenge me to commit to new routines and foundations that prioritize my passions as well as my health.

That was such an engrossing podcast! You two really outdid yourselves. I found the info on the comets especially fascinating. Apparently, the last time Pons-Brooks came by was in spring of 1954. I was born at that time and incidently, Jupiter was also in Gemini! This looks to be a very interesting time we are coming into. Congrats to Austin on your new baby❤
Kudos to the awesome history, but just a couple of points. First of all the USA’s south node is in Aquarius; if I remember correctly at about 6° so Pluto’s transit over that point will be extremely important. USA’s Sibly chart was born 248 years ago so not a few hundred years ago. And the Pluto in Leo generation began in 1939 and ended in 1958. Pluto as you spoke of as “the death of something and the rise of something else” leaves out one of the key meanings of Pluto, which is the transformation of the soul. And lastly, I know you had to move on because of time constraints, but I didn’t hear one positive thing about the Pluto in Leo generation. For me personally, I think there was a whole lot of love that came through my generation.
The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is conjunct my MC I have had many changes in the way in which I earn since Uranus entered my 10th house Ive been putting the work in and look forward to this transit in particular
Ty, I follow Dr. John Campbell, he is a nurse practitioner, whom I found gave (and gives) great medical information. He did not so long ago a talk about the huge amount of ppl being depressed. My first thought of course was, yup, Sat. in Pisces, but of course I could not say that in that environment. Same when covid struck, I was nor worried nor surprised, since the possible ramifications had been thoroughly discussed in your forecast. So ty for your, in my opinion brilliant work and maybe one day I will be able to simply say this without being looked at funnily.

About the presidential thing, it will be interesting to watch RFK jr because he has a Stellium in Capricorn, and some people have said that Capricorn is his ascendant. . So that would put his angles in cardinal placements aligned with those eclipses.
The Jupiter and Uranus conjunction will hit right on my natal Chiron in the 4th house. I'm really interested to see what that brings. I currently have Jupiter conjunct my moon in Taurus and when its ingresses into Gemini, it'll hit my Sun at 0 degrees Gemini. So much going on this year.
