#2024CW28 

Hi everyone,
This is my collage for week 28 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).
The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:
1. ‘A texture or pattern found in clothing’ ~ I went with something obvious
for this one: the texture given by the thread used to sew the cloth
together to create the garment.
2. ‘Something associated with relaxation’ ~ I chose a label from an
essential oil pulse point roller and also a flower. Being around and/or
walking in nature, particularly a garden, is always relaxing for me.
3. ‘ A repeating pattern’ ~ I used a page from an old diary for the
repeating squares, rectangles and numbers painted on it.
4. ‘A positive affirmation’ ~ My ‘go to’ positive affirmation is ‘You are
enough’. I printed that phrase to use.
5. ‘An image of landscape or scenery’ ~ I found a stunning image of a
snowy forest, with mountains in the far distance and moody clouds
above, back lit with sunshine.
Bonus ‘A security envelope’ ~ Nothing much to say about my choice here, other than the design was pale blue which tied in with the colour tones in my diary page.
