INTENSE microburst hits my car from rapidly forming storms in NE Colorado.
Video starts with winds already gusting 50 to 60 as microburst approaches.
You can already easily hear the wind .
In a matter of seconds the wind SLAMS my car and increases to probably over 80 mph .
The amount of dirt and corn stalks hitting my window was so extreme I had instant fear of side window blowing in on me ! I quickly dropped the camera and turned car to have the stronger windshield face the wind. If you listen carefully after car is running you can hear thuds as debris hits side windows. After I get car facing the wind I grab camcorder and film the dust still moving rapidly past me . At this point the winds had decreased from peak speed
2nd video clip much more peaceful near Curtis , NE as shelf cloud moves towards me . These storms were strong but not severe warned . End of video is a photo of another storm that was severe ahead of the line.
