Yes - Bring back Datsun. I owned a a 1970 510( loved for 140,000 miles) Later owned a 1979 Datsun 2+2 280ZX ..... Also in 1979 bought their first King Cab Pickup (1979) with little flip down rear seats - perfect size ..... Little trucks are "TOO BIG" today And then they changed their Name .........
I am a Nissan/ Datsun owner since 1976, but the way the company is run during the last 20+ years, it would seem as if they are no longer interested in competing with other manufacturers. Nissan should have been very close to where Toyota is today. I agree that they should bring back the 510 and other models like the SSS's and GX's, but this will remain a pipe-dream .
Chevrolet Cobalt SS, COME ON GUY'S, one of you give me something. I once had a Datsun 280z and your rendering is awesome, I now have the Cobalt SS which reminds me of the 280z. BUT would love to see a revision of the Cobalt SS leaving some of the attributes to make it somewhat recognizable.
@@aaronmiller1020 what lmao no Nissan already technically was Datsun. Datsun was a name they came up with when they started exporting cars to the west. In 1981 they started transitioning to the name Nissan which is why the 1981 280zx (the car I own) badge on the rear says "280zx by Nissan". Datsun just changed their name in 1981, nothing was sold. Datsun was always just like a... pet company. Think of like how jordans are their own "brand" but their just like a sub-division of Nike. Datsun was Nissans Jordans, eventually they just wanted to use the actual company's name. like how the Z cars are actually calls like s130's and stuff but in america they named them fairlady's because they thought it'd sell better to americans.
