Hey Clarissa! You should never feel like a failure for providing your kids with what they need. Of course, it’s fine to want better for yourself, but please don’t beat yourself up about the past, especially if you were doing the best you could. Supporting a family isn’t easy, especially with the way the economy is set up right now. Inflation has been kicking all of our butts, so I can only imagine how much harder it must be on families. Those babies have a roof over their heads and food in their bellies. Never feel ashamed of that! I’m rooting for you, girl!! 💕

My mom has 10 children and even though we struggled growing up we remember the good times we had not all the logistics of what our parents couldn’t provide for us! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think if u want to go back to school changing jobs to the hospital will be good for u bc of the tuition reimbursement.
Hey I just wanted to tell you that you are doing a great job ❤ I understand the mom guilt but we have to make sacrifices to become better for our children. I just moved this year with my 6 kids from a 3 bedroom to the 2 bedroom it’s been hard but we are making it. I’m in nursing school and working full time I did this because I look at the brighter future ahead of us !! We got this !! Don’t give up stay strong 💪🏾

Love the transparency in the video. You got this. When you ask for a raise know what the average salary is for your position. Sometimes we are in jobs where we are underpaid and don’t know it (I’ve been there). Make sure you have talking points about what you’re doing in your job to show why you are asking for the raise. Thank you for sharing, Clarissa! I am 31 as well. We are still young! We can definitely change careers. We still have 30+ more years of working to do. (Unfortunately) 😅 I also beat myself up about how much money I’ve spent. I think I realized when I had already been working for 10 years and didn’t have anything in savings that I had just been living to work. I had nothing to show for all the hours I worked all these years. The past is the past though! We are smart enough and strong enough to do better from now on!

Sis-Give yourself grace, it's not how you start it's how you finish. There is a USDA Direct 502 loan program for low low income folks so you can buy a home for you and your children. You are a great mom because you are trying, and you are young enough to keep trying! Don't give up!!😊

Hey stay encouraged and keep going. Please strive not to live with regrets and be hard on yourself. Right now keep pressing on and do what you are doing now to change things around. Love that you are writing your goals down. When we fail to plan we fail and you are already on the right path to achieve the goals you desire. My friend gets in a rut at times and always tell him you can’t change the past but most definitely take daily steps to move forward right now to do what it do to make things better. It’s hard being a single parent. I only had 1 child so I can only imagine with 2. My goal for 2025 is to save enough money so I can get all the home repairs needed.
