I just saw some headlines but didn't read the story but seemingly Ford nearly pulled out of Australia just like GM did, interesting as their Ranger ute is the highest selling vehicle here.

That is so odd despite their success they still want to get out. Yet companies like Honda choose to persist very strange. I’m very curious to know what goes through these executives minds and how they make these decisions

@@MeynMotorGroup Their sales tanked, Aussies were fed up with them selling shit vehicles and not giving them any support, so they just stopped buying. Ford also was selling shit cars and throwing their customers under the bus afterwards, the only vehicle that saved Ford was the Ranger, otherwise they'd be gone too. Part of the reason also for not only GM but for Ford was they were too slow in recognising market changes and it basically killed them here. Also GM basically stole millions in Aussies taxpayer money claiming they'd keep manufacturing here then didn't so we said don't let the door hit you on the arse on your way out.

@@Excalabur50 oh I see I thought they were crushing it out there and randomly decided to get out. This makes sense. Here in the States the Chevy Bow tie and Ford Oval Blue is worshipped like a deity so they can put out a whole lineup of turds and crush their sales targets.
